Codex Deathwatch and the return of Eldrad Ulthran

It has been announced yesterday (31st July) that on the 6th of
August Codex: Deathwatch will be released, along with a new box
set containing a Deathwatch team battling the forces of Eldar
Harlequins. This also joins sightings of a plastic sprue for the
chief Farseer of Craftworld Ulthwé, Eldrad Ulthran. Sources say
at this time that the contents of the box set are as follows
Deathwatch:
-Watch Captain Artemis (

-5 Sternguard veterans
-5 Vanguard veterans
-Deathwatch upgrade sprue
-May possibly contain a Dreadnought
Eldar:
-Eldrad Ulthran (I'm sure you know who he is)
-12 Harlequin players
-Death Jester
-Voidweaver
-2 Skyweavers
-Harlequin transfer sheet
As ever, Games Workshop have heard the cries of the people for a
new Chaos codex and plastic Sisters of Battle, but have chosen
to completely ignore them. Despite this, Deathwatch are still
cool so I'm satisfied for now.

The first images of this box set have been unleashed upon the
Internet.

As we can see, there is in fact a Dreadnought in this set. A
Venerable Dreadnought by the looks of it.
Apparently this is going for roughly £95. Considering there's
maybe nearly £200 worth of models here, it seems ok. A paperback
copy of the rules and what would seem like either a campaign
mission booklet or a mini-codex are also included.

Note the massive variation in weapons between squad members. Not
even conventional weapons either - the heavy weapon of the
Crimson Fist on the right of the second image for example, is an
unusual and hopefully very cool gun.

Chapter specific shoulder pads are also included, so don't worry
about freehand painting of tricky chapter symbols.
