Characters and Lore

Okay, so we have this Community of Characters, right? That's
basicly us.
So I want to make this discussion thread, where we put appart at
each of our Characters and point out the flaws... stuff that we
could make better about them.
And since we want to stay friendly, say something good about
Characters too (something you like maybe).
Important:

This is about Characters and Lore. Not about people and
behaviour. Keep real persons out of this as much as possible (I
know I will do badly with this one already)
And don't fuss about it, if you don't like how a certain
character behaves, if it's Lorefriendly. (for example: beeing
racist when you're a Marine)
ONLY: talk about Lore issues you have with them.

And remember children... this is Games Workshop Lore, of course
it has holes and stuff that does not agree with itself.

Although we may not have seen this strange lascutter of Runa's,
it doesn't make it any less of a techno-heresy (which sounds
like Slaanesh's debut dubstep album) to sellotape it to a
dreadnought, especially not a relic like a contemptor. Even
standard dreadnoughts are hard to come across these days.
I have no problem with the fact it's a dreadnought, it's just
that I don't believe dreadnoughts are equipped with giant servo
arms. Furthermore, thinking of it logically, if there are anti
vehicle guns destroying your tanks, you don't send another
vehicle to go and repair them.
He's also a blank... I'll save that argument for later.

Tecon is the Relic Master of the Chapter. His job is to collect,
use, and distribute as he sees fit.
He doesn't do field repairs. He primarily plays a part in
boarding actions, and regularly ends up skulking in his forge
reparing things.
In lore, blanks have been over-looked by the black ships, and
so, it is possible that he makes it into the ranks of an SM, and
in fact, he was recognized as a blank during his indoc, and he
was given his limiter when he joined the ranks of the
Techmarines, on Mars.
I'm fixing the laz-cutter anyways. It's just going to have the
alternate fire-mode.

Either way, I have a Salamander who'd like to have a word of
him.
A dreadnought in a boarding action is rather counter intuitive,
since they can rarely fit through the corridors.
Also, a blank in the chapter doesn't seem too smart since every
librarian on the same battlefield would explode, literally.
Now, complain about my characters, I'm getting tired complaining
about yours ;D

Actually. Your wrong about the blank thing. Unless they are all
secretly deamons, the librarians would be unable to use psyker
powers, and experience headaches. Add in limiters, and he can
just sit in the middle of a psychic storm perfectly fine, but
not influence anything nearby. Though, constant contact with a
Psyker could potentially cause him to lose his soul-lessness, it
hasn't happened yet.
Also, larger ships are capable of having a dreadnought walk down
the passageways.

It's still an inconvenience to the psyker to have their power
rendered useless.
Maybe a larger ship, but if Venerable Brother Amadeus and
Brother Sergeant Hazon Dak'ir from the first book of the Tome of
Fire have taught me anything, it's that Dreadnoughts are only
big enough to fit in the hangar of Mechanicus ships.

Well, see, space stations are larger. Boarding a ship and
destroying all of their smaller void-craft and vehicals is still
a great tactics.
Actually surprised with that. Considering it is a Mechanicum
Ark, which are one ofnTHE largest human-grade ships in the known
galaxy. The Rock doesn't count.

Aye, they could fit in some parts certainly, but they're pretty
screwed in the event that the rest of the boarding team need to
move through somewhere smaller.
Now, moan about my characters, I'm sure there's at least one
thing that pisses you off :D
