PvP Battle Arena: Mount Deathfire - Technical Thread
DIR By: Apothecary Meros

Come here to discuss the cuteness of otters, the pattern of
Thunderhammer a Black Templars is using, and other trivial
aspects of the arena that people really shouldn't be bothered
about, but are anyway, for some reason.
All outstanding OOC messages are as follows:

centre of the chamber, and a good forty feet away from So'rem

The gesture is nice and all but it's a little late...
This is still a lore forum after all...
Discussion about aspects of lore and equipment should be
encouraged...
Not ignored...

As per Amendment #1 of the Arena Regulations all new Arenas will
be required to have a Technical thread, just like rps.

Before anyone starts complaining...
Lathe Pattern Thunder Hammer - The Lathe Pattern Thunder Hammer
is a huge warhammer that features an oversized head. Like
standard Thunder Hammers, these weapons store energy and then
release it in a violent explosion upon impact. The tremendous
concussive force released is [glow=red,2,300]equivalent to a
concentrated grenade explosion[/glow] strong enough to punch
holes in vehicles and knock those nearby to the ground. Though
extremely cumbersome to wield, Lathe Pattern Thunder Hammers are
often used by Adeptus Ministorum priests to both smite the
wicked and invigorate the faithful. A Lathe Pattern Thunder
Hammer is lighter than most other Imperial variants, and is
intended for use by unaugmented humans.

I didn't plan on complaining.
Although I myself still think personally that the pattern of
Thunder Hammer designed for 'unaugmented humans' isn't used by
Space Marines. Especially when the Lexicanum article for the
Astartes Thunder Hammers specifically states 'The thunder hammer
is often combined with a Storm Shield'
But, you have both agreed to your conclusion so I'll let you
keep it that way.
