The battle of Retrocles III web comic

I am embarking on creating a mildly more dramatised web comic
describing the battle of retrocles III RP we did a while ago.
It'll take time, it'll all be in black in white, and it will
probably be a little removed from the actual story... but hey I
did some full colour announcement art:

Like everything in existence, it could do with improvement. The
rather clearly copied and pasted Guardsmen and Necrons kind of
kills the mood a little bit, and personally I think there's too
much free space between the two armies and in the sky, but it's
a good start.

This was an overly ambitious side project, I didn't put much
effort into it and it shows, but I decided to put it here
because it's vaguely related.

Needs work on the background and of course the shadowing...
But it's a good start...

good? it's fucking great.
All the shit that went into the pylons and the tanks especially
- you made them much better than I would.
How you got the sizes of each character pretty much perfect is
amazing too, like fucking shit, I always screw that one up when
I'm trying to make battlefield-scribbles.
Some of the more obvious shit that needs fixing:
I think Risti has a staff and if he has a gun, he didn't use it
much.
Rasta has Slaaneshi-swords nothing imperial like a chainsword
(but that can stay it doesn't make a difference)
Meros has an Axe instead of a sword... though you really did
damn great on how he holds it and it's perspective.

used a Necron war scythe he stole. And Ris wasn't wearing his
mask.
