Beyond The Veil... (Action)

Round One: Arrival
You all sit aboard the Ardent Phoenix, a Retribution Class
Battleship, and flagship of the Rouge Trader Lucan Tyrius. You
have volunteered to go on this mission to eliminate a dangerous
threat and claim ancient tech for the Relay.
Or perhaps some are concerned over the Mechanicus Explorator
fleet that disappeared preforming the very same action.
The enemy is still unknown, but your destination is a highly
modified deep space Star Fort outfitted to be an enormous
research station, the builders of the station were human, but
there is no info on them otherwise.
Expect the unexpected here, either ancient horrors lie within,
or newer, but no less dark creations stalk the halls.
Soon you will be in range, then a gunship will take you over to
the hulking mass to begin this mission, for better or worse,
this is the deep breath before the plunge.

Lucan turns to Serena "Pretty much, but this opertunity is too
much to pass up, wouldn't you agree?" His voice was distorted
through his masked helm, that held errie similarities to that of
the ancient plauge doctors of old Terra.

Lucan turns to the Apothecary
"We expect heavy resistance, enough to best an Explorator
fleet... At least that is what we expect. What could be there is
a different matter entirely."
He activates a nearby holographic emiter. It showed what
appeared to be a heavily modified Star Fort.
"This is our target, all we know is that this Fort is some kind
of modified research station, and that there are items of great
worth within."

IFF code from the same data cache as the Mechanicus, so the
hanger door will open for us. We can confirm that most of the
station defenses are off line."
