Because there is a one in 700 000 chance that your plane
crashes... it's actually probs much lower than that and I'm even
including cheap-shit flights.
like russian ones...
fuck russian airlines, seriously.

To be fair, Russian airlines are the least likely to be shot
down by Russian anti aircraft missiles.

Long story incoming:
I went to Japan last year, took russian airlines cause it was
dirt cheap and they only stopped in moscaw where I would have to
board another plane.
On the flight to Japan, they started late, personel couldn't
speak english or german and to board the other plane in moscaw,
we had to run, because we arrived there two hours late.
In Japan I didn't get my luggage, the russian personel didn't
feel like informing me where it was (the Japanese staff at the
Airport went out of their way to search for it though and it got
delivered for free to my hotel there, along with japanese people
saying they were sorry.)
Flight back: Plane again late, this time it's about 5 hours
though. The Plane from moscaw back to switzerland was sceduled
to have already taken off two hours ago but still didn't... not
because they where waiting but because they were also late.
I was traveling with a friend, he made it, I didn't because I
needed more time at the metal detector.
Now shit hit the fan, I was in moscaw, alone, no idea where to
to go or what to do. After a while a bunch of people which came
from the same flight as I did and wanted the board the same
plane to switzerland as me gathered, all of them confused and
lost as well... all of them Japanese I might add...
about 15 men and one girl which was the one that started asking
russian bystanders about what we had to do now.
We went to a Info-stand, I went to talk since I had the best
english of us.
Guy at the Info went like: "why should I fucking care it's your
fault not mine, buy a new ticket."
It took the angry Japanese girl to point out that there where
about 15 people with the same issue for the man to point us into
a direction to walk.
Ther we where escorted by non-english speaking russian men with
guns out of the airport into a bus.
We where actually scared, about 30 people in there and noone
knew what was going on.
They took us to a place to sleep with no windows, dirty showers
and only one english speaking staffmember which left after about
20 minutes of explaining when we had to get up in the morning.
I was hungry, tired and kinda scared. But that Japanese guy that
shared my room was cool as fuck at least.
Morning; we get tickets (for free, at least that)... the wrong
ones... take hours to explain to that annoyed Russian guy with a
gun, that we all want to switzerland and not back to Japan. Get
new ones.
Now the tickets tell us that our flight already left a few hours
ago though. Russian staffmember tells us it's okay.
We get into the Bus. Busdriver comes in about one hour later, we
head to the airport, again, get new tickets.
At the gate there's noone, no plane either, thanks to one
Japanese guy beeing able to read russian we find out that the
flight got changed to a different gate, we go there, head into
the plane and finally get home.
Even the Japanese where mad about how unfriendly the russians
treated us...and that we all where hungry as fuck but we did get
back home safely so that's that.
