How well does a Carapace armor perform in stealth?

It's pretty light no where near as good as an armoured body
glove aka scout armour but it can still take a hit I'd say it
was the medium armour of the 40k universe...
Then again if raven guard can still sneak around in power armour
       (Marks IV-VI)...
       Anything is possible I suppose...

Carapace armour is the armour worn by scouts, and is much more
manoeuvrable and isn't powered - so there's no humming of energy
powering the suit to give you away.

How about compared to flak armor?
Would those plates make any sound when moving?

I think it'd be pretty similar, only lighter and less
       protective.

Carapace armour gives a better save in tabletop... so probably
       more armoured.

Sorry, I should've been clearer. Flak armour is less armoured in
       comparison to carapace

Carapace armour is usually armaplas or cerimite plates so it
       would make more noise...
And generally be heavier and restrict movement...
Depending on the amount of coverage...

Don't see really how that's related to what I said before...
