Seige of Ignoxus (Action)

*klaxons blare throughout Hive Touron* Inquisitor Faizel sighs,
and sets down his tea, standing up and stretching. "Emperor damn
those heretics" he thinks to himself.
On the edge of the Hive, thousands of Imperial Guardsmen and
regular citizens given a crash course in holding an auto-gun and
firing it at the enemy, hold the defences, ready to retreat at a
moment's notice.
Three hundred Km away, Manufactorum Primus is fortified by
members of the Adeptus Mechanicus, and portions of the local
Space Marine Chapter. Between the two points is the Imperial
landing zone, still held for when, or rather, if, Imperial
reinforcements reach the planet.
Even now, waves of Chaos cultist assault the defenses, slowly
pushing their way deeper into the massive city.
Even now, hundreds of Roks are launched from the nearby asteroid
belt, carrying with them thousands of the disgusting green
creatures known as Orks.
The only saving grace is that the enemies of mankind enjoy
killing each other as much as they enjoy killing humans.
Three days away are Imperial Reinforcements, but the Inquisitor
has heard that both Eldar and Tau forces are closer, and on
their way, Eldar for their own reasons, and the Tau because of a
pact formed between them and the SM chapter.
There is also a much smaller joint Imperial force a few hours
away, and should be able to provide some reinforcements, and may
be able to break the orkish blockade.

*Proximity alarms near Landing Site Alpha squeal to life,
alerting everyone nearby the incoming aircraft.*
*shortly, and Eldar vessel preforms a strafing run on the hoards
that swarm outside of the fortification, before circling back,
and requesting permission to land.*
*the Space Marines allow the Eldar craft to land, shortly
revealed to be a Storm Serpent as it disgorged a Harlequin
troup, lead by an Eldar who ask to be called the Duke of the
Hidden Realm. The Harlequin declared themselves to be there to
provide assistance, until the main force of the nearby
craftworld can reach the planet*

Froastfire
*The stabilised Warp gate beneath Manufactorum Ultima ripples
and swirls as a fallen Marine steps from it, entering
real-space. He looks around, and sees himself surrounded by an
orgy, quite literally, of slaneshii cultist. He scowls in
disgust, and moves through the massive room, until he reaches
the passageway to the ground floor. He swiftly navigates it,
until he reaches a room dedicated to the Lord of Change. He pays
his respects, and moves on, passing through the door to finally
step foot onto the sand that surround the chaotic base. He looks
around, and sees that the area has been fortified. He matches to
one of the lookout towers, and surveys the surrounding desert,
noticing the Manufactorum was built on a plateau above the
desert*

Apothecary Meros:
*A Storm Eagle bearing the colors of the Salamanders SM chapter
land on the primary landing pad of Manufactorum Primos. After
the engines have spooled down, a Salamander Techmarine and his
retinue step forth from the troop bay, speaking with the Space
Marine Sargeant who greets them, he follows the sargeant through
the Manufactorum, silently marveling at the massive forge and
sacred machinery, appalled at the damage done to such a holy
artifact of the Omnissiah. Shortly he reaches ground level, and
is lead to the battlements, where he surveys the surround feild,
awash in the blood if the traitors and Xenos*

Lucan:
*a pair of Valkyries lands near the rear command bunkers on the
outskirts of Hive Touron. The Valkyries are obviously modified,
and quickly disgorges their passengers before returning to the
air, leaving the world swiftly.
At the edge of the landing zone Inquisitor Faizel greets the
Rogue Trader with a smile* "you know if you were not here to
provide assistance, I would arrest you for the modifications to
your Valkyries. But as it is, I welcome them. Relax brother, and
prepare for another assault." *as he leads the Rogue Trader to
the command post the klaxons blare again, and you prepare your
men in case they must defend you*

Him that crushes you:
*A Storm Raven lands soon after the Eldar craft, and ten Space
Marine scouts, including their Sergeant step from the troop bay,
and are greeted warmly by the members of the third company
stationed here* "brothers, it is good to see you, we have heard
reports of more reinforcements touching down at Touron and
Manufactorum Primus, tell me there is good news concerning the
ork blockade." As he converses with the scout, the rest of the
scouts unload weapons and ammo for the Defender's, including two
hunter-killer missiles*

I see you have held your ground well, Sergeant." He says, while
squad Kor'san secure the nearby area. Squad Jarosh and his
servitors stay by Uzak's side. "Does this Manufactorum still
have functioning defenses. Sentry turrets, void shields, and
such?"

Mathiel looks about. He was rather angry at being placed with
filthy xenos, and he made a mental note to let some "friendly
fire" occur.
"There is no news, me and the initiates have just arrived."
The Scout would pull the person aside.
"Before you give me and the Scouts a status report, tell me that
we shall slaughter these xenos before they get a chance to
leave?"

*the Sergeant turns to you, and you notices the iconography of a
rose on the right kneepad, and speaks with an almost feminine
lilt to their voice* "Brother Techmarine, I am sad to say the
voidsheilds have been deactivated through the work of a
saboteur, however, if we had the ammunition, the sentry turrets
would still function, the primary limitation is the lack of
resources to produce the ammunition, normally we would collect
the resources from the nearby asteroid belt" *at this, you
remember there are additional supplies onboard the Storm Eagle*
