I'll Be Falco sanders, and putting it out there now, I'm gonna
win this gloriously (for the imperium).

The Imperials didn't ally with the Eldar in WA, they merely
saved the farseer to know her information. In the same day they
started shooting each other again. Even then, in the DoW book it
said that the Guardsmen were cutting through swathes of Eldar
with Lasguns and the Eldar mounted an attack with ttheir
skimmers while the two leaders were speaking. I have yet to hear
of SM chapters helping the Eldar. They know that Eldar are
traitorous and it is simply better to kill them I the end. Heck,
lore-wise the death of the Squats can largely be blamed on the
Eldar not coming to help even though it was agreed they would
(see: Fall of Imbach) If the Eldar are driving out later, I see
no problem. However I still have a problem with the Tau.
Imperial would never call for Tau aid because they know the Tau
will use this as an opportunity to take people as gue'vesa and
destabilize the region. Not to mention the Tau are Damn xenos!
Sort that out, I might join this rodeo as an Imperial Guard at
       commander.

Who said the call was specifically for the Tau? They could've
heard it and decided to help, as we all know the Tau will ally
with anyone they can to destroy the forces of Chaos, or Orks in
this case. For the greater good!
It is events such as The Fires of Dolumar IV and The Martyrdom
of Malbede - both events where Ultramarines and Tau allied to
       kill Chaos and Necrons respectively.

In those cases they were both already near those enemies, and
those were Space Marines. Imperial Guard have 0 tolerance fo
xenos unlike Astartes so your examples are as relevant as the
       cost of coca-cola.

Basically, the distress call is broad, and everyone can hear it.
That's why there are dark Eldar inbound.

IG will temporarily ally with Xenos to protect their worlds.
They will then turn against the Xenos of course, but still.

The allies matrix in the 6th edition 40k rulebook has imperial
guard as allies or desperate allies to every faction other than
Tyranids. Meaning that guard will happily ally with, for
example, the forces of Chaos, Eldar, Orks, and Tau.

Anyways, there are currently seven allied SM strike-cruisers on
the way to Ignoxus, the one at the head is the Imerialis Primo's
Fall of the Warp, which is a mobile librarius, and has a large
complement of Librarians and Chaplains onboard.

Oh yes Meros, because rules are completely accurate to the lore
and of course three Guards men can take on a Space Marine ;D
