Something Something politics.

Okay, so this is completly unrelated but I want to hear your
opinion on this...
(German articles, I'll explain bellow)

In Egg, which is one of the bigger towns in my state (about half
an hour carride from me) the mayor (Mrs. Theresia Handler) has
been forced to withdraw from her position due to her "beeing
bullied" out of her position.
Appereantly she was not taken serious and so, one year after her
election, where she got the majority of votes by far, she steped
down from her position.
At first, Carmen Willi, mother of three, was appointed with the
whole council voting for her.
However, before the paperwork was even finished, she as well
submitted her decline of the post, saying that appereantly the
people of Egg did not want a mother in this position, so she
returned to beeing a primary school teacher.
Now in position is Mr. Sutterlütty, again voted with clear
majority, only one withholding his vote. He says that he regrets
this, as he was good friends of both of the above and thought
they where very capable and fit for that position. So far, he
has not seen any issues but he jokingly said, the he as well, is
a father of three.
Everything considered though, the Region Egg is well known for
demanding re-elections.
So yea, wanted to hear your opinions on it.

Bullying is a lax term, appereantly they recieved letters
demanding them to leave from the population of the town, as well
as not beeing taken serious by the council-members, which makes
politics really cruel. It's bullying, but it makes her job
impossible so when she left, everyone understood that and she
was not in any way treated badly after leaving her position.
