Legends of the Froastfire

At the time of the Great Crusade he was a Librarian of Dark
Angels chapter. Loyal son of Lion El'Johnson and of Caliban. He
had a name and a lineage to be proud of. He had a code of honor
to uphold. And those were the good times.
But then, the time of heresies and treachery came. He and his
brothers were left to rot on a planet scoured clean by Imperial
war effort, and only lord Luther took care. Lord Luther decided
to seceed the Empire. Lord Luther fought back for the Caliban
and for the desserted ones. So he fought with Lord Luther like a
brother of old.
But when Lord Luther fell by the hand of treacherous Lion, he
was not around to help. He was sucked out by the warp rift that
opened and cast into the chaos of immaterium. He felt his soul
burn with the witchfire that fused his body with his armour, and
he felt the freezing chill of space run through his blood and
nestling in his bonemarrow. He felt the hands of the neverborn
toying with his mind untill they broke it, untill he was willing
to give everything for his tortures to end. And only when he was
nothing left to offer for the blessed death, an answer came from
the distance.
With one fell swoop the daemons that played with his mind were
locked in his armour plates, the fire burned but never consumed
him, the ice chilled him but never froze completly, a purpose
was drawn for him, and a way out offered: yield to Lord of
Change and survive.
Between the screams of pain, with nothing left to loose, and
nothing left to offer, he agreed.
Thus, a new entity was born and set on the galaxy of men.
It took a name of Froastfire.
