2019 VENTURES INTERNATIONAL FAN FEST

Still going strong, the particulars for this year's annual
gathering are below:

60TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
COVER CHARGE $60 INCLUDES BREAKFAST, LUNCH & DINNER
Yes, we'll be celebrating the 60th anniversary of the band which
coincides with our 11TH YEAR continuing their legacy as the
biggest
selling & most popular instrumental band in the history of
recorded music.
OLDSKOOL hailing from Danville, Virginia will be returning as
one of our
featured bands & additionally, we hope to have on hand an
additional (8)
groupings made up of avid Ventures fans/musicians doing their
part to more
than cover the (12) hour event. Memorabilia tables will be set
up as usual &
Ventures merchandise available for purchase. We'll also
conduct an auction &
engage in Q&A sessions. There's also a chance attendees will
get to rub elbows
with members of The Ventures as well.
With the unfortunate passing of DICK DALE this year, I've served
notice to our
regular jammers that a signiture song or two of his is
'mandatory' within their sets!
Last year, our theme was "Remembering Nokie Edwards" & we had
special T-shirts
made up with the blessing of his wife Judy. They will be
available again for those
who weren't fortunate enough to purchase one. A new T-shirt is
also presently being
designed to commemorate the 60TH ANNIVERSARY!
