Thanx so much for posting this Walt.
I feel as tho since late last year, the writing seemed to
be 'on the wall' as complications from surgery in Dec.
       first reared their ugly head.
Seems as tho the site has been forgotten of late. Now
that THE VENTURES have started workin' again in The States,
I for one expected quite an uptick in posts in '18. I'm still
       waitin.'
C'mon- let's get behind 'the new lineup' & really hop back
       onboard this
'continuing legacy' quest since Don Wilson retired a few years
       back. I'm
sure more than a handful of our members have had the thrill of
       catching a recent
concert or two, yet there are no reviews here. I know 'you
guys' have got it in ya!!!

I did post some video from the 3/10/18 show in another thread.
If I find more, I'll post it. Maybe they'll find a few new fans,
       who nose?

& having attended two concerts myself, I managed to upload
quite a few video clips of the new lineup on YOUTUBE-
       tab11balt11.
The 'almost full show' at last check had rec'd over 6,000 plays
       in less than
       a month- pretty amazing.

Just read about Nokie. So sad. I got to meet him at two shows
they did here in North Carolina. I remember he was so
approachable and easy to talk to. I will miss him. I know his
music will live on. God bless.

       Sad news indeed..
He was a great player, a fine gentleman and a true legend.
       RIP Nokie.

Yes sir- you are absolutely right. Nice to see. 'Most
       likely'
the first of many. Billboard also ran a nice article titled
       'the
       (10) most influential Ventures songs!' I posted it to my
       regular
       facebook page!

Nice article BUT where WAS this kind of prose/praise when Mel &
Nokie were still around makin' music?
