       Eddie Bertrand of the Bel Aires, Eddie & the Showmen and Eddie &
       the Eliminators
       is living his last few days on earth. He's dying from a cancer
       he's been
       fighting for many years and is now very close to riding his last
       wave.
       Eddie is responsible for some of the best surf music The
       Ventures have recorded
       and played over the years. A great friend of his is collecting
       email messages
       and reading them to Eddie every day. If anyone would like to
       send Eddie a

       and Tim will be sure to read it to Eddie.
