use the word 'integral' to describe founding member Don
Wilson's contribution to The Ventures overall identity.
And we're not just talkin' technique here but also the
equipment used over the years to achieve that driving
'unmistakeable' sound!

Jon also told me that Don said to him he was just lucky to have
the exact palm shape necessary to produce the unique plam-muted
glissando sound he's known for, that earned him the name, Tiki
Tiki Tiki San, in Japan.
