       I am Mark Place.  Ventures fan since 1960.  Learned their songs
       on guitar; played in garage bands in high school.  Have several
       Fender guitars (Jaguar, Strat, 2 Jazzmasters, P-bass).  Saw them
       live in 1998, 2008, 2009.  Met them through Jack DeFranco.  Was
       in Nashville with Nokie during recording sessions in 1998.
