Hi Everyone
New member just introducing himself' name is Sam from N.Ireland
look forward to comments and advice "always need plenty of
advice) dont know much about The Ventures grew up listening to
the Shadows and I think Hank is a wonderful role model to
follow' his playing has influenced so many people, I have tried
to learn to play the music of The Ventures lately and as a
newcomer or should I say latecomer to learning to play guitar
i'm (60) it can by a bit tricky for me to get it right so will
need ur help.

I'm a late commer to the Shads. Love the live stuff the most.
What can we do to help you? Just ask. :)
I dunno how many Ventures songs you know, but we have one member
who is posting the chords for Ventures toons daily in the Chords
& Tabs category. Maybe that's a place for you to start?

You're in the same boat I'm in. Just exchange The Ventures for
The Shadows. So keep playing all this great music. I hear
there's something of a revival going on over there. Is there
anything you can tell me about it?
