Zombie fluffies

How do we make Zombie Fluffies work? I had posted a story
involving a zombie fluffy
HTML http://fallofcleveland.createaforum.com/general-discussion/story-bits/?message=208<br
/>earlier in Story Bits based on how I would write a Zombie
Fluffy. Working the concept around the story, I would say that
the zombie fluffies:
[li]Are not really dead: most of the Fluffies still in
Cleveland at the time of the explosion were hardened ferals, as
fluffies with owners had evacuated, so by fluff and cicumstance
they survive[/li]
[li]Are perhaps slightly smarter and more resiliant from the
radiation[/li]
[li]Learn from the devistation that there is a delicious
spaghetti-like substance in the heads of humans and other
fluffies[/li]
[li]Can only say "brains..." well, technically,
"bwains."[/li]
This is a stretch, but then most zombie stories are, as the dead
rising is something one does not see every day. I want to know
how you see a zomie fluffy working, so we can at least have
similar results.
That, and this thread can serve as practice not to write zomby
fluffie.

Actually, when I considered the idea of zombie fluffies, they
weren't looking for brainghettis, but were rather the last
tragic victims of the Fall of Cleveland.
Beta particle radiation would penetrate their fluff and skulls,
but only to the depth of their frontal brains...where their
speech centers are. The beta decay would cause neurovascular
radiation sickness, damaging their nervous systems and most
importantly, their speech centers. They would shamble around
painfully, drooling, moaning, being able to enunciate only one
word: wuv. Desperate for affection and hugs to make their agony
go away, their appearance and demeanor would only attract
disdain and fear from humans and fluffy pony alike. Fluffies
would run from them, humans would slaughter them, while all
along their only wish was to be cared for. They would have no
malice toward anything, and would not understand the reactions
other beings have to them.
They would be left to die in an irradiated hellscape, unable to
vocalize their desires, unable to make friends, and unable to
get anyone to see past their 'zombie behavior'. They would
serve as a living memorial to the disaster, trapped helplessly
in their own short-circuited minds.
Picture it. Hordes of fluffies shambling about, droning 'wuv'
relentlessly. How would you react?
I am a terrible person for thinking this way, probably.

The problem is that all of the zombie fluffy ideas that have
been proposed so far are really good with plenty of story
potential. I think whatever route we take, the zomfluffs should
pose some sort of threat. Like, their radioactive bodies are now
producing toxic blood, and their bites are strong enough to
break human skin. Fluffies that are bitten are infected by the
blood and become zomfluffs themselves, whereas humans that are
infected suffer from a swollen tongue (that makes them talk like
fluffies) and other dangerous symptoms that represent a severe
threat.

I'm not sure I like the idea of dangerous zombfluffs. I thought
it would be funnier if they seemed threatening by being zombies
but turned out just as harmless. But not all of us go for
funny, so I want to hear more opinions. I like the idea of a
zombification that matches a fluffification in humans though,
but maybe as a temporary/easily cured annoyance.
As to the wuv idea, I enjoy it. The idea that they have
lessened speech capabilities match my thoughts.

Sorry for the lack of updates, my tower finally kicked the
crapper and now I have the long and painful process of trying to
extrat the data from an over-heated motherboard.
Never have cats in the same room as your computer. Ever.
Ah, Zombie Fluffies .... definitely radiation/tissue damage to
the brain to make them slower and also reduce their capabity to
speak, as before. Also, 'Bwain-Skettis' could have something to
do with the automated Spaghetti Device? One of the components in
the kiosks mixes spaghetti with sauce, and it spills, and an
irradiated Herd stumbles across a dead human with a partially
crushed skull and the unit cracked wide open...
>Be a Zomb-Fluffy
>Everything hurts. Even your head.
>At least you've stopped leaking boo-boo juices out of your
poopy-place, mouth and ears.
>Herd is soooooo hungry.
>Spaghetti Land ...... maybe the White Silent Not-Fluffy Munstas
have gone now.
>Meanie Hoomans who throw Bumpy Boom-Booms maybe go away as
well.
>"Skeehhhhhtttiiiiiii." Fluffies groan as they shuffle through
the rubble, the dead Friends, the smoking piles that used to be
buildings.
>Mean Not-Grass has gone away, replaced by black sticky stuff.
>Several Fluffies get stuck before the Herd realises the black
sticky stuff gives hugs forever.
>"Nuuuu .... skeehhhhhtttttiiiiiiii!" Those Fluffies stuck in
the Black Sticky Stuff moan, bloody tears leaking from their
swollen eyes as the Herd leaves them behind. "Waaaannnn .....
huuuuuuuuuuuugs......"
>Finally ... Sketti!
>One of the Delicious Mushroom Places has fallen over, with a
Dead Hoomin lying next to it with a Head-Owie of his own, and
there's a strange Metal Box that keeps running around and
dumping spaghetti into it, even though it's overflowing on the
tracks....
>Everyone in the Herd shambles forwards, their fluff falling out
of blistered, oozing hides, slowly slurping up the cold
spaghetti in mouths where the teeth have begun to fall out.
>Spaghetti tastes good, even cold. Even with boo-boo juices in
your mouth.
>Soon, there's more Fluffies, crawling out from under the rocks,
from down near the water, from up near the Smoking Not-Mountain,
all moaning and groaning that they want Spaghetti.
>There's so much Spaghetti, with the Fast Metal Box zipping
around and bringing more Spaghetti.
>Fluffies who have eaten shuffle away, happy to have eaten but
still pained by oozing, bleeding skin, fluff that won't stay on
and teeth that keep falling out.
>Smarty Friend is not looking at Spaghetti.
>He's looking at the Dead Hoomin.
>See him shuffle forwards and lick at the Dead Hoomin's
head-owie, then pauses, staring at something intently.
>Then he buries his muzzle into the Hoomin's Owies and starts to
eat.
>Herd starts to look over and look on in amazement as the
Smarty Friend pulls out the biggest, thickest piece of spaghetti
out of the Hoomin's Head Owie and sucks it into his mouth. It's
as thick as your leg, soft, and covered in delicious-looking
sauce.
>Your skettis have sauce too, but it's white sauce, not the best
sauce, tomato sauce, like the Smarty Friend is eating....
>"Hoooominnnn ..... skeetttttiiiiiiiiis...... nummeeeeeeeeh." He
burbles around his bloody mouthful.
>"Hoooominnnn ..... skeetttttiiiiiiiiis...... nummeeeeeeeeh."
The Herd repeats dutifully,

I love parallelism in writing. What is tied must be untied.
Before the Fall, word spreads out from Cleveland that there is a
mythical place filled with food. Herds receive the word and
congregate to where there is the mass of food - Spaghetti Land.
After the Fall, word spreads among the gathered, starving,
irradiated, potentially infectious herds that humans have
delicious spaghetti inside their heads. Herds receive the word
and disperse to where there is a mass of food - places with
Humans to try to gnaw.
Hoooominnnn ..... skeetttttiiiiiiiiis...... nummeeeeeeeeh.

Think of it this way: fluffies are already just about as
non-threatening as an animal can get. Making them even slower
without adding some new element of danger makes them practically
a non-entity to anything that can outrun them. Which would be
everything. Making them infectious, toxic, and potentially
lethal gives someone a reason to take zomfluffs seriously.

Well, I kinda imagined that there would be a sauce dispenser
separate from the spaghetti container, since some fluffies might
not want the sauce.

^Kinda like this. Of course, the fluffies could knock it over
and spill the sauce out over the spaghetti, and some smarter
herds could even figure out how the pump works.

Possibly Fluffies also want the 'fluff' (hair) of the Humans
because theirs is falling out, being bad, won't stay in etc?
Sorry I haven't added much to the project, I do apologise,
goddamn laptop is a nightmare to work on when you have hands as
big as mine. having to type with a damn pen so I don't push two

Just a quick question here: is anyone still planning using some
Cleveland-aftermath zombie fluffies?
