I'm having a hell of time writing anything.
I don't think the guy from Judgment is even in the same universe
as Ohio, and Sarah and friends have literally no reason to go to
       Ohio.
At least I can serve in some sort of advisory capacity until I
       stop being bad@writing...

Then make sure I have the results of Drew saving thousands of
civilians right so far. This would be early Phase 3.
       >Be Drew Allison Carey, reactivated Marine Reservist Gunnery
       Sergeant
       >Your actions helped to save the lives of thousands of civilians
       >The octagonal Navy and Marine Corps medal hangs from your chest
       >It’s ribbon of red, yellow and blue bounce it slightly as you
       walk
       >After your evacuation and debriefing, your honors and all the
       memorials
       >You’ve gone back to Ohio
       >But your city is gone
       >petadittos.dll
       >There, the shores of Lake Erie are a little farther inland
       >And covered in multicolored corpses
       >The city itself is an ashen gray
       >Only a few blasted-out ruins stand higher than a few stories
       >You fall to your knees at the sight
       >Your commander comes up to you and barks at you to keep your
       trousers clean
       >You snap up and bark back “Yes, sir!”
       >”At ease, Sergeant Carey. I understand your emotions.
       >Besides, you’re not going to be active much longer
       >I’ll be handing you an honorable… release… as soon as we’re out
       of quarantine.”
       >You both cringe at the obvious avoidance of the word
       “Discharge”
       >”You’re still a Marine, though, Carey. Stay strong.
       >Now, we’ve let you come to see the city. Make your peace.”
       >You look over the streets of Cleveland and fume silently
       >They might take your rifle from you now
       >But you vow your Semper Fidelis to your Country, Corps, and
       now, your City
       >You vow you will never forget the abomination that destroyed
       your city
       >You vow to kill every fluffy you can, in ways that will make
       them beg to die
       >Be dead
       >Wait, how do you think that?
       >Is this Heaven?
       >Was Sketti Mountain really a land where fluffies not ever sleep
       forever?
       >You had biggest ouchies after the good feel was felt by all
       fluffies
       >And all was dark
       >Now, you stand and look around you
       >Your smarty-friend is smartiest fluffy!
       >Took herd to land where no ouchies are biggest!
       >You see ruins of Sketti Mountain far off
       >The big boom must have sent you far away
       >You feel hungry
       >You want Sketties
       >You stumble towards a human to ask it for nummies
       >Your legs are torn open
       >Yet you can walk, and there is no hurty juice
       >You see his head is broken open
       >He has had biggest ouchies
       >But inside his head you see something
       >Strands, covered in red
       >Sketties!
       >You rush as fast as possible to the body
       >You devour the sketties as fast as you can
       >They are best sketties ever!
       >You still want more
       >You have already forgotten the human is sleep forever
       >You nudge it with your hooves
       >You try to say “Hooman wake up, gif fwuffy mowe sketties fwom
       head?”
       >But the whole sentence only comes out as one word
       >”BWAAAAAAAAINS!”

       @Phil
That's some good stuff right there. Poor Drew.
I kinda had the idea that a zombie fluffy would have a much more
simplistic thought process, most of his brain and its hardwiring
being nuked from radiation. The only part that survived fully
intact was the part that wants spaghetti.
       @Mayclore
I've yet to use any of my previous characters either. I'm not
sure how/if I'd want to involve Boomer, since his stories are
mostly slice of life hugbox. Same with Scootato, her story has
already been told and I don't know if I can mine any more ideas
from it. The guy from The Sacrifice lives in the middle of
nowhere and stays there, so short of a migrating herd passing by
his house, not sure what he and his newly adopted herd could do.
The guy from Judgement could be flown in as a consultant,
already having had to deal with garbage bloated fluffies.
Whatever the case, I for one appreciate the help you've offered
so far as a resident military guy.

       Thousands? Hmm...
I know the Navy and Marine Corps Medal is the highest available
non-combatant action medal...but if you saved thousands of
people single handed, you'd probably get a Silver Star by Act of
Congress as well, combat or not. Besides, if the people of
Cleveland begin rioting, it's highly likely that martial law
will be declared. Soldiers serving in the enforcement of
martial law would be eligible for combat medals, because under
most award criteria, 'combat' involves being subjected to lethal
force, being in grave danger, or going outside a set perimeter
to conduct official duties, i.e. patrols.
In fact, under the grave danger qualification, he may be
eligible for the Silver Star anyway, martial law or not.
Anyway, I don't recommend going higher than the Silver Star.
Not even the Navy Cross. The service crosses and the Medal of
Honor can become touchy subjects when fictionalized.

Mr. Anubis, I figured that the only part of a fluffy's brain
worth anything was the speech centers, as other than their
capability for speech they are rather dumb animals [/jarjar].
That said, I don't have to drop the first hint at the Zombfluffs
of Cleveland, so if anyone else wants to take a stab at it be my
guest. This just represents how I would handle the reveal. If
I do wind up with the honor, would it help to tweak it to sound
less like Fluffy-POV and more like a human's understanding of
what a fluffy might be thinking (i.e., change Sketties to
Spaghetti, hurty juice to blood, etc?)
Mayclore, I considered the Silver Star, but wanted to keep it
branchy. I really want to push the Marine angle. If I have to
bring him in through the Army Reserves I'll make it the Silver
Star, but I don't want to push the envelope that much. And
yeah, I'm an Army Brat, so I have enough respect to not get
close to the Medal of Honor. And the Navy Cross would require
an armed enemy force, and I don't think gassy fluffies qualifiy.
Meanwhile, I've already been sworn off using my not-Drew-Carey
reoccuring chracters (i.e., fuzzy dragons and Fleet of
Enforcement Fourth Precinct Interdispensational Non-Covert Task
Force Unit 103). Though I have been toying with the idea of
dropping a story as an early phase 1 nod to Sergeant Marion
Susanna having her arm broken and nearly being raped by
abusefags as an excuse to 1) give her a commendation, as once I
don't have fluffies to play with I am taking her comepletely
       into my
       big-headcanon-of-everything-I-want-to-write-as-a-story-one-day
and want her to wind up with high rank, 2) give myself a good
excuse not to let them interfere, and 3) have a sauran alien
sing a line from "Cleveland Rocks." Point being, Mayclore, your
work is appreciated even if you don't have an established
character available to add to the fray.

It's your story, so you call the shots. I just wanted to bring
up my own ideas in case you wanted to add to them. I basically
stole all of Vanner's ideas for the Fluffy 2.0 and used them for
my own story, so fair's fair.

I think Phase 1 is anything goes as far as just dropping hints.
If you want to throw in a song lyric in Susanna's story, you'll
       hear no objection from me.

This just came up in the sticky too, and I responded there. The
