Actually, given that climate data, and the fact that the
destruction takes place because of hoardes of ferals who have to
migrate in, late summer might be better.

I just recently saw the first episode. Looks pretty boss. It's
got a dwarf getting a blowjob, so they know how to snag you.
June 29 as the date works for me. I kinda imagined that the
whole crisis would last a lot longer than a day, though. Is that
the plan?

theme park would take much more time than what we have to write,
so our Phase 1 stories could reasonably span a year's worth of
advertising and thus be set at any time.

This is true. Though they wouldn't advertise until the park was
a few months away from opening.

My thought was that the stories/images we posted on June 29
(i.e., Phase 2) would end with/depict the actual destruction.
For stories/comics, that means that the scope of the setting
could be as long as needed, but the last line/frame would be
taking place as the mass explosion occurs. Settings that start
to be described as "weeks" might warrant considering writing a
Phase 1c story as setup though. I know that my Phase 2 story
will cover several days' worth of Sgt. Drew Carey being on
patrol.

Yeah, sorry should have qualified that. I was asking about the
time frame of the Cleveland invasion. I know the plan is to
upload all the stories in the course of a day, I just wanted to
confirm that the fluffies don't arrive in Cleveland and burn it
to the ground in a day.

I had figured there would be enough time for an ex-Marine to
notice that something was amiss in his hometown and re-enlist,
so my guess is that the
mass-arrival/rioting/plotting-of-abusefags/buildup-of-volitile-waste-in-the-sewer
would last a long time IU.

That would also give staggered herds time to arrive. They'd
rapidly replace the fluffies that die from starvation,
extermination, and all the other many, many, MANY ways fluffies
die.

Do we have a teaser illustration with a date ready to ship to
the newly-reopened Ponibooru?

Marcus had a rough draft, but I don't know if he's done.
We don't need to rush yet, we still have about a month, and we
need to make sure we can commit to the Phase 2 date.

Okay, I've got the poll back up for one last shot. Please vote
on the date (i.e., ignore what I am about to say when posting).
Of course, it would be epic if we could time the whole thing on
the day. I would love to see the proposed arc number of 109
become a time of detonation (and thus, the time we attempt to
post). So later I will be posting a time. I'm fairly certain
that 1:09 Cleveland time is
1:09 pm EST America
12:09 pm CST America
11:09 am MST America
10:09 am PST America
7:09 pm in Madrid
1:09 am of 30 June in West Australia

I think we should space out the story postings so that it starts
in the early afternoon and concludes in the evening. That way
the board isn't overwhelmed, and we can make sure the stories
are uploaded in roughly chronological order.
Also, can we make it the 30th? That way it's a Saturday and I
don't have to miss half of the action to work.
I'm on board with the first image being uploaded at 1:09
Cleveland time, but Ponibooru doesn't keep accurate timestamps,
so the symbolism would be lost.
