It will have to come back at some point. If it really is down
after the launch date, we'll just hold on to phase 2 stories.

The entire city is going to be overrun, and that includes
suburbs and outlying areas. If you want to claim a chunk for
your own story, go for it.

Please note that the perry Nuclear Facility is to the Northeast,
so it might be good for us to put Spaghetti Land on that side of
town, along the Lake Erie coast if we're going to have it flood
for the traditional Fluffy Pony Drowns.

That makes a lot of sense. If the fluffies are seekking out
Spaghetti Land, and most of them are coming from the west and
south, they'd have to go through Cleveland downtown to get to
it. Once they're there, they'll be easily lost, easily
overcrowded, and then it turns into a desperate search for
Spaghetti Land.

I am about to be instructing a difficult class for a few weeks,
then I have a small vacation, and I'm not often able to be
online on weekends anyway, so we need a moderator. Mr. Anubis
has been posting a lot, starting good, well-needed topics, and
has experience with this site's forums, so I've given the
authority to him. Just want you all to know that I appreciate
the work everyone is doing, and by no means am I doing this as a
way of playing favorites.
I've lost a lot of fun online projects to my tendancy to overdo
internal politics, so I am trying my best to assemble good
artists, then not do anything to piss you off. At least until
the project is done.

I appreciate it, Phil. I've used forums like this before for my
classes, so I can make double sure that only members can view
it. Nevermind, apparently that's an admin-only thing. Phil, PM
me if you don't know how to set viewing permission. It would
suck to have all of this planning be busted by some jackhat Anon
who thinks it's funny to rain on our parade (of fiery fluffy
death).
I hope I haven't been overposting. I don't want to be That Guy.

There are aspects of That Guy that every project needs. It's
like going to Ponibooru and knowing that (as fluffy pony
artists) Anchors is going to favorite what you post. It lets
you know someone is watching and your contribution will be
noticed.
I think I got you what you need now.

Looks like you already have the board locked down nice and
tight. No spies sappin' this sentry.

A thought just occurred to me. What time of the year is this
story taking place?
I had the impression that it was sometime between the middle of
spring and the start of fall. That would provide the ideal
travelling conditions for migrating fluffies so that they arrive
in Cleveland with most of their numbers intact. Well, maybe not
most, but more than enough to kick off this shitstorm of a
collaborative clusterfuck.
Neckbeard's story in the nuclear plant made it sound like it was
cold outside. I live in Texas, so cold is anything below 65 F
(19 C). What is the typical temperature range of Cleveland?
And more importantly, when should the story take place?
I also ask because my Sacrifice story takes place in the middle
of fall, with winter coming soon. If I have migrating fluffy
herds pass by, that might not sync with the timeline.

I was thinking of the date the story happens as the event date -
meaning it actually happens on 29 June (unless we have to move
the event itself back). But I like the dropping of "Winter is
Coming" as much as the next guy on the internet who has never
actually watched/read/played Game of Thrones.
Whatever happens, it won't happen in realtime. Building a theme
park would take much more time than what we have to write, so
our Phase 1 stories could reasonably span a year's worth of
advertising and thus be set at any time.
