So here's an idea I've been churning around in my head.
Most fluffy stories take place in the near future, as evidenced
by writers either outright saying it or implying through things
like MLP being XX seasons long already and stuff.
So Obama probably wouldn't be the president when this whole
thing went down.
Here's my pitch: Megan Williams (G1) is the president. She
ultimately has to greenlight the use of military force against
the fluffies. Plus Marcus would have an excuse to draw her in a
professional dress and heels.
Yes? No?

Ha ha ... very cute idea, but I'd definitely have to vote no.
It's a cute reference, but it oddly blurs the lines of reality
between the "fluffy pony world" and the "MLP world".
Also I can't imagine Megan having any part in anything that
would harm ponies in any way whatsoever. (Also, if Megan were
president, I very much doubt fluffy ponies would lack animal
rights.)
Besides, I never need an excuse to draw her. ;)

A good point, I agree with this. I like where the idea is
coming from, though - we should have a story featuring the
POTUS.

Perhaps they could be part of a USO show during the conflict?
as silly as that would be to have a USO show in this situation

I concur.
I also really like the kind of ominous, big-brother-esque
overtones that referring to "President Supreme" generates,
paired with the laughs when you realize who that actually is.
(Also, his platform is apparently ponies for everyone and good
dental health. As a Colgate fan, I can get behind this.)

zombies, so he'll be good to have around to deal with Zombie
Fluffies
