Fuzzy Ponies 101
By: Lord Anubis Date: June 20, 2012, 7:18 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
Everything you ever wanted to know about Fuzzies, but were
afraid to ask.
Here are all the rules for fuzzy ponies:
[li]They are a few inches taller at the shoulder than fluffy
ponies. They are bigger all around, but not significantly, just
enough that they have a size advantage and you could pick a
fuzzy out of a crowd.[/li]
[li]The have pure white fuzz and manes, and foggy, almost blank,
blue eyes. [/li]
[li]Their fuzz is shorter than a fluffy's fluff, but still long
enough that their coat is thick, and the skin can't be seen. If
fluffies are Saint Bernards, fuzzies are German Shepherds. [/li]
[li]Fuzzies are smarter than fluffies, but not that much
smarter. They're smart enough to be able to follow commands, and
I would say they have the mental capacity of a fluffy alicorn
(7-8 year old human). Not that it matters much, as fuzzies are
completely dependent on human orders.[/li]
[li]Fuzzies are pre-programmed to be very polite, and they do
not speak unless spoken to. The exception to this is if they
need to poop or haven't eaten for days, in which case they will
remind their owner. This can be turned off with a command.[/li]
[li]Fuzzies are capable of eating everything a fluffy can eat,
but they need Fuzzy Feed, a fluffy chow-esque food made by
Biotoys that contains essential proteins that fuzzies need.
Without Fuzzy Feed, a fuzzy will die after a few days. They are
indifferent to spaghetti, as it has no nutritional value for
them. [/li]
[li]They have a small chip in their brain that contains
instructions and programming. Rather than reset the brain, you
can have the chip reset itself. The chip can also receive data
and new programs and instructions via a short range
transmission, which is used by a device at fuzzy pony stores.
They are not big enough to pick up WiFi. [/li]
[li]Fuzzies do not do anything on their own. If a fuzzy is left
alone in a room without any instruction, it will stay still
until it dies. Fuzzies don't act to protect their existence
unless ordered to. [/li]
[li]Fuzzies obey all orders given to them by a human that
they're capable of following, unless those orders involve
harming a human. [/li]
[li]Fuzzies are capable of displaying emotions, but they are
simulated. Fuzzies themselves are a blank slate. [/li]
[li]Fuzzies do not forget orders, as they are locally stored in
their brain chip until completed or overwritten. [/li]
[li]Fuzzies do not freeze if they lose their fuzz. Their bodies
function like miniature ponies (actual ponies). Unlike fluffies,
who rely on their fluff to retain their constantly dissipating
body heat, fuzzies only feel mildly uncomfortable without their
fuzz. Not that they would express this.[/li]
[li]Fuzzies do not form herds, as they die without Fuzzy Feed
and commands from humans. All fuzzies are exactly the same, so
none are smarty or stronger than any other. [/li]
[li]Fuzzies have genitalia, but all fuzzies are infertile.
Though they are theoretically capable of having sex, it is
impossible for a fuzzy to reproduce. All fuzzies are produced in
Biotoys' laboratories. [/li]
[li]Fuzzy ponies are programmed to fear the Behavioral
Adjustment Device (BAD Fuzzy Stick). It's basically a baton with
a unique coloring to differentiate it. Before its behavioral
programming was perfected, it was developed as a disciplinary
tool. Only a few prototypes were made before Biotoys managed to
make fuzzies completely obedient, making the BAD Fuzzy Stick
unnecessary. The fear programming was left in anyway.[/li]
[li]Fuzzy ponies come in earth, unicorn, and pegasus versions.
The pegasus fluffies have the same bone density as the others,
but their wings cannot lift them. Unicorns can use magic a
little better than fluffies, to the point that they can levitate
small objects, and shoot hot sparks that can ignite fluffy
fluff.[/li]
Here is how Secret Order 109 works:
[li]A person says exactly this: "Fuzzies, begin secret order
109. Password: obsolete." [/li]
[li]Any fuzzies that hear this order will say "Aknowedged."
[/li]
[li]The order is as follows: Kill all fluffy ponies that you
can, so long as humans are not around to see you. If a human
asks what happened to a fluffy pony you killed, claim you don't
know. If you can think of a convincing lie, tell it. [/li]
[li]How they kill the fluffies is up to them, depending on the
situation. All methods are acceptable. [/li]
[li]Any indication that a human is present will cause them to
pause Order 109 until the human is out of sight. [/li]
[li]They err on the side of caution when it comes to not being
seen. [/li]
[li]They do not know how cameras work. A security camera will
not register as a human watching. [/li]
[li]Generally, if they don't see or hear a human, they will
assume there are none around. [/li]
[li]A fuzzy can be ordered to stop with a simple command like
"Stop killing fluffy ponies." [/li]
Got questions? Ideas? Ask them here and they shall be answered.

So, based on the current understanding of the group, how could I
create the scenario I posted in story bits of a large number of
Fuzzies attacking in such a way that Drew and his unit feel the
need to fight back, and be a threat enough that the military
decorates him?

I'm working on something that lets them attack humans. Feel free
to write as if they are able to.

Yes, I added that to the list.

Is it going to be an Asimovian Shuffle? "Best way to not harm
humans is to kill the ones protecting obsolete fluffies?"

More like their programming gets a bit jumbled and their "kill
all fluffies" order becomes "kill all things"

In regards to that, Fuzzy Ponies are driven away by Humans who
have witnessed their murder-spree, Code 109 seems to have
backfired, they run on an automated line of code and head back
to a 'reprogramming center' and try to get updated orders .....
and in the chaos, there's a bug, a virus in the system, either
just your average run-of-the-mill mess-with-your-life virus or a
rival company trying to steal the data/corrupt the data.
Fuzzy Ponies try to update, intead get the virus downloaded ....
malfunctions everywhere. Lines of code become horrifically
garbled or conditioning and orders start to conflict, causing
the Fuzzy Ponies to break off into splinter groups, each
following their own corrupted versions of Code 109.
Fuzzy Ponies head out to follow Code 109-A. Kill Everything.
Thinking T-100 in the machine room here, just sans the cyborg
part.
Fuzzy Ponies head out to follow Code 109-B. Kill Obsolete Fluffy
Ponies has somehow turned into Cuddle Obese Fluffy Ponies,
resulting in a small, very addled group hugging 'Fluffy Mummas'
till they pop.
Fuzzy Ponies head out to follow Code 109-C. A Much smaller group
has had their programs so scrambled they actually start
protecting Fluffy Ponies, possibly killing an Abuser in plain
view of a National Network Camera Crew. Or alternatively,
mistake a Hugboxer trying to save a Herd as 'hurting' Fluffy
Ponies and attempt to murder him.
Fuzzy Ponies head out to follow Code 109-D. Copy Fluffy Ponies.
And are then chased relentlessly by Group A, again, televised
for maxium facepalm moments.
Fuzzy Ponies head out to follow Code 109-E. Fuzzy Ponies start
fornicating relentlessly, even though they know it will do
nothing.
>"Please stop hugging Fuzzy Pony that way. Fuzzy Pony cannot
have Foals."
>"Fuzzy Pony knows this, but Fuzzy Pony cannot stop."
>"Fuzzy Pony is having Good Feels."
>"Fuzzy Pony is also having Good Feels."
>Five hours later.....
>"Fuzzy Pony cannot have Good Feels anymore. Fuzzy Pony is
bleeding. Please stop."
>"Fuzzy Pony cannot have Good Feels either. Fuzzy Pony cannot
stop, however."
>"Fuzzy Pony is broken?"
>"Fuzzy Pony is broken."
And then the relentlessly shagging herd trying to off their
'defective' members, who are willing to help but cannot stop
humping.

Having a fuzzy kill a person is still kind of absurd. They are
just slightly better fluffies after all. Attacking a human?
Sure, but they'd get the same boot to the head that a fluffy
would. Fluffies, even fluffy pony 2.0 just aren't a danger to
people.

That's just it. They're only slightly stronger and smarter than
a fluffy. They're only going to pose a threat in very large
numbers against a single individual.
