Oh my God, my headcanon. You are some sort of psychic, it's
almost exactly how I pictured it. My only request is to make the
mane a little bit longer.
I'll have to check with Phil, but I believe stories about
Spaghetti Land will be posted a week before the launch date, as
a buildup. We'll let you know if we decide when to greenlight
images.

Yeah same here, the short mane seems odd to me
also I imagined Fuzzies would have like half lidded eyes at all
times, like they were in a trance. but fuck it this is cool too

It's a perfectly symbolic image too. The fluffy is just babbling
and babbling, and the fuzzy stays completely silent.
The fluffy is excited for a new friend, the fuzzy doesn't give a
fuck.
The fluffy is bright and colorful, the fuzzy is a literal blank
slate for its owner to imprint on.
And so on.

Love the Fuzzy, it's more 'Horse-Like' than a Fuzzy Pony, with a
longer neck, and it is completely white, fluff, mane, tail. I
love the blue pupils and blue irises as well, makes them very
pretty, but imagining them splashed with blood, would make them
very eerie and surreal.

Wow Marcus' fuzzy is an awesome creature... I doubt I can better
that!
As of tomorrow I'll be working on Bowser and Peach, I have some
ideas :3

Don't underestimate yourself, coal. You have your own
distinctive style that brings a unique perspective to fluffy
art. And a little friendly competition couldn't hurt.

I concur! Just as there are all the different artists with their
different styles/takes on the original fluffies, I'd love to see
how each of the various artists would tackle the fuzzy ponies.
(Besides, the comments clearly indicate there's room for
improvement on mine!)
At the same time, though, I really look forward to see your take
on Bowser. It's difficult to make fluffies look badass. :)

Glad you think so, that's exactly what I was going for.

That's interesting - I was going for something similar (giving
the fluffy pony full highlights like a FIM-pony, but the fuzzy
has just a single, much more subtle highlight to try and give
his expression a hollow effect.)
Something I'd like to do would be to make a series of sketches
of fuzzy expressions, and, if possible, have them all look
slightly "off". Like, you can tell what the expression is
supposed to BE, but not really "feel" it, as though it's been
poorly drawn.
My main inspiration for that fuzzy was some of the animatronic
toys like Furby - and, indeed, a friend of mine has a G3.5 baby
Rarity that has the same problem. They should be cute according
to manufacturer's calculations, but there's something just
unsettling about their dead eyes and general... artificialness.
As for the hair, I'd been trying to give it an almost military
look to keep with the "order" theme of the fuzzies, as well as
that their fluff is generally shorter - but I guess I might have
taken it a bit too far. I'll see what I can do.
Thanks for the input, everyone!

An expression reference sheet would be wonderful.
The short hair military cut makes sense, but that's the mane,
and it's supposed to be a little long. I'd say add maybe a few
inches. It should still be shorter than a fluffy's.
Anyone wanna draw the fuzzy from my story strangling Creamsicle?
Because I think it's a pretty unnerving scene, if I do say so
myself.

Well guys here are Bowser and Peach, on their own and together
for size comparison.
Critique welcomed ^^

So very fluffy! I love your fluffies, Coal; they look like the
type with so much deep, thick fluff that they cannot be killed
unless shaven. Which I think works with Bowser and Peach, but I
leave that to the writers using them.
