99 Mining Guide by General D.
I've decided to make this guide completely, 100% out of boredom,
and maybe to help some newbies to Fallen-Pk :D. In this guide i
will be going in-depth on the extreme basics of mining, to the
standard knowledge of mining most people have. Basically, this
will go over everything about mining i have learned while
playing Fallen-Pk.

================================================================
===================================================
The Basics
As you may or may not already know, mining consists of two
things:
[li]A pickaxe[/li]
[li]Ores[/li]
Now you may be wondering, what is a pickaxe, and what are ores
(probably not)?
HTML http://img848.imageshack.us/img848/2236/runepickaxe.gifPickaxes<br
/>are commonly known tools used to mine metals, rocks etc. also
known as
HTML http://www.go-runescape.com/img/mining_smithing/ore_runite.gif<br
/>ores. In Fallen-PK, even though there aren't pickaxes to chose
from, there are various ores to mine. Each consisting of a
different ore, amount of xp and gold. Ocasionally, you may mine
an uncut gem:
[li]

[li]

Emerald[/li]

[li]
HTML http://www.global-rs.com/img/uncut_dragonstone.gifDragonstone[/li]
These can either be sold, or crafted for experience in the
Crafting skill. Fallen-Pk also has pickaxes to chose from, since
there are only 3, and none mine slower or faster than the other
i won't go into detail. Pickaxes can be purchased in the
skilling area or the shops from Bob. But before you do, please
continue reading.
HTML http://runescape.neoseeker.com/w/i/runescape/5/5d/Dragon_pickaxe.gif<br
/>This, is called a Dragon Pickaxe. Most would assume that it
mines just like any other pickaxe. However, in Fallen-Pk that is
not the case. I am telling you DO NOT buy this item for mining,
It costs 8M but does not actually mine! You will end up with
'You need a pickaxe to mine this rock.'.
================================================================
===================================================
Ores
Here is all you need to know about ores in Fallen-Pk! Now that
we have covered what ores are, this is a more in-depth part
about them and mining.
To start off all 7 ores can be found east of the Skilling area,
located in your spellbook.

Ores can be collected by mining them with a pickaxe, and sold
for money. Or they can be smelted into bars for EXP. It is also
important that when you get a full inventory of ores to head
east. There you can find a bank stall where you can deposit your
inventory.
Every time you mine an ore, you are given an amount of EXP
depending on the rock. The following list below includes the Ore
name, Level required, EXP given per ore, General store selling
price, General Store buying price.
[li]

Ore -
Level 1 - 1800 EXP - 3GP - 3GP[/li]
[li]
HTML http://www.global-rs.com/img/tin_ore.gifTin
Ore - Level 1 -
1800 EXP - 3GP - 3GP[/li]
[li]
HTML http://www.global-rs.com/img/iron_ore.gifIron
Ore - Level 15
- 3500 EXP - 17GP - 17GP[/li]
[li]
HTML http://www.global-rs.com/img/coal.gifCoal
- Level 30 - 5000
EXP - 45GP - 45GP[/li]
[li]
HTML http://www.global-rs.com/img/mithril_ore.gifMithril
Ore -
Level 55 - 8000 EXP - 162GP - 162GP[/li]
[li]
HTML http://www.global-rs.com/img/adamantite_ore.gifAdamantite<br
/>Ore - Level 70 - 9500 EXP - 400GP - 400GP[/li]
[li]
HTML http://www.global-rs.com/img/runite_ore.gifRunite
Ore -
Level 85 - 12500 EXP - 98250GP - 98250GP[/li]
Getting the level requirements to mine Runite Ore should only
take 10-20 minutes. Note that once you reach level 70 mining, it
takes a bit more time to gain EXP. And you will be mining a lot
of Adamantite and Runite ore to reach level 99. Have fun mining!

===================================================
Other Notes
[li]Just using an Iron Pickaxe is the best. It costs less and
works just as well.[/li]
[li]Iron Pickaxe costs 140 Coins, Rune Pickaxe costs 32000
Coins[/li]
[li]Approximate time played (level 1-99 Mining) 1 Hour[/li]
[li]If you guy is swinging his pickaxe, but not getting any
ores, this is a glitch. Click the ore again to fix it![/li]
[li]You get about 0-4 Gems per inventory while mining![/li]
