       Does anyone have the same problem for the 170HD+ to auto turn on
       ?

       I got my 170HD+ as a replacement of an older 170 and have been
       struggling with it.  It would not turn on about 50% of times
       when I start my 2015 Nissan LEAF.  I also tried it in my other
       car, 2005 Honda Pilot, the problem did not happen as often but
       still about 20% ~ 25% of times.  I suspect that it has something
       to do with how the car starts outputting the power and how it
       would trigger the cam to turn on.
       I have updated the firmware a couple of times but no luck.
       The old 170 never had this problem although it could stuck with
       filled SD card from time to time, and I got the replacement as
       the unit failed to update the firmware.
       Through out the process, Falcon's support has been great.  I
       hate to just ask them to ship me another replacement as it might
       not really resolve the problem.
