Firmware Version

How can I tell the version on my Falcon 170? The website says
the latest version is 1.0. Is that correct?

I would also like to know what version I'm using. I tried
installing the latest firmware and followed the instructions in
the "Read Me First" page but was unable to get the falcon 170 to
do the LCD screen flash.

Aren't those just crazy instructions! They are not an easy way
to flash firmware. I do not know what directory to put the files
in, the root or somewhere else. I love everything about the
dashcam but that.

The firmware is coming off the site soon, it was only intended
for a batch of them that did not loop, no need to update unless
directed to.

What about the firmware change to allow larger license plate
numbers? The current version is not long enough.

Still no word on when the firmware will be updated to allow for
7 license plate chars.

Hi,
I just bought one of these discounted through a groupon offer.
Although I though I had everything setup properly. the device
did not loop thru on 5 min increments...filled the card and
stopped like I had it set on continuous.
I still have to test it again, but what devices need a firmware
update to fix the looping issue?
My version looks to be Z1A20151124.V.1.19.IQV2.
