POV Help

1st Person - When you write from the POV of the main character.
(I smiled, the corners of my lips twisting up just slightly.)
2nd Person - When you write from the POV of the reader. (You
smiled, the corners of your lips twisting up just slightly)
3rd Person - When you write in typical story format, from the
view of the narrator. (She smiled, the corners of her lips
twisting of slightly.
Past Tense - When you write as though the events took place in
the past. (She climbed the tree, the bark digging into her small
hands.)
Present Tense - When you write as though the events are taking
place right then. (She climbs the tree, the bark digging into
her small hands.)
Future Tense - When you write as though the events have not yet
happened. (She will climb the tree, and the bark will dig into
her small hands)
