       DEPARTMENT POLICY - SASD DIVISIONS

       Chapter 1: - Division Structure
       POLICY 6.1.1: Ranks
       Each division shall have at least one(1) Lieutenant, and no more
       than three(3) Sergeants, with no limit on the number of
       Officers, Deputies and Corrections Officers.
       POLICY 6.1.1b: Ranks Continued
       All Lieutenant and Sergeants are to be mandatory divisional
       trainers, ensuring that new members know the rules and
       responsibilities of the division.
       POLICY 6.1.2: Members
       The member count for a division shall be decided on at the
       discretion of the Sheriff or Undersheriff. Divisions, excluding
       Patrol must be as balanced member-wise with each other as much
       as possible.
       Chapter 2: - Requirements
       POLICY 6.2.1: Division Standards
       The standards for recruitment into the divisions shall be
       decided on by the Division Lieutenant and enforced by the
       Sergeants.

       POLICY 6.2.3: Disciplinary Actions
       Failure to meet requirements can result in an ejection from the
       division. If a Deputy has failed to fulfil his duties, the
       division commander and / or leader may sign of his / her
       termination from said division.

       For deputies that are ejected, the ejection will go on your
       record, and will be considered a disciplinary action.
       Terminations may last for a maximum of 2 months from any
       division, and can be extended if the current Division Leader
       thinks it is necessary
       POLICY 6.2.4: Joining a Division after Academy
       Every Deputy is required to be in a division. All Trainees
       exiting Field Training will immediately be placed into Patrol
       for a tour of duty of no less than 1 week (7 days).
       POLICY 6.2.4: Applying for a Division.
       In accordance to 6.2.1a all members must meet the requirement of
       Deputy. Each division has the right to determine its own
       recruitment standards and processes.

       Any deputy has the right to change division if he/she does not
       feel satisfied with what said division offers them. Even when
       under a certain division, the deputy will be forced to obey any
       orders from any superior no matter what the division.
       POLICY 6.2.6: Division Responsibilities
       Each division will be created for a purpose. The
       responsibilities will be appointed by high command. No division
       may be created without the express from the Sheriff.
       Chapter 3: - Special Operations (ERT/TE) Policies
       POLICY 6.3.1: Patrol
       All members of the above named divisions will be cleared for
       Patrol during any down time.
       POLICY 6.3.1b: Patrol Continued
       Those division members will patrol in the vehicles allocated for
       their division by the Sheriff. Meaning, any vehicle that is
       parked by a command member at their home-base is free for the
       use of any Operative or Detective.
       POLICY 6.3.3: Tactical Uniform (TU)
       At no time shall any member of any Spec Ops team use their
       tactical uniform for any non-official purpose. This uniform is
       only cleared for usage during operations.
       POLICY 6.3.3b: Tactical Duty Weapons
       This will be set by the operation leader and may vary according
       to operation. Operatives involved may not use any weapons not
       given authorization by the operation leader.
       POLICY 6.3.4: Activation Procedures
       The special operations team will only be allowed to dispatch
       and/or carry out operation with express permission from any
       divisional command or supervisor.
       POLICY 6.3.5: Privacy Agreement
       No information may be disclosed about appointed special
       operations objectives, briefs or any other form of intelligence.
       Any operative that releases information will be subject to a
       temrination.
       Chapter 4: - SASD Field Training
       POLICY 6.4.1: SASD FTO Training Board Requirement
       All Field Training Officers(FTO) are required to update
       themselves from the notice board.
       POLICY 6.4.2: FTO Obligation
       Trainings will occur at the convenience of the FTO, or during
       set dates and times, ordered by the division commander.
       POLICY 6.4.3: FTO Obligation Continued
       FTOs must be actively training on a weekly basis all assigned
       trainees.
       POLICY 6.4.4: FTO Officer Training Exam
       The basic knowledge test consists of questions which 75% of
       which should be correct to pass and receive their graduation.
       POLICY 6.4.4: Application Conduct
       Applications may only be reviewed and controlled by division
       leaders. The division leader must abide by the recruitment
       policies and exclusions may only be made by support services
       captain or above.
       Chapter 5: - SASD Internal Affairs Division
       POLICY 6.5.1: SASD IAD Special Authorizations
       The Internal Affairs Division of San Andreas Sheriff's
       Department is authorized to impose any kind of punishment to any
       member of the department, regardless of rank.
       POLICY 6.5.2: SASD IAD Regulations
       IAD personnel is authorized to detain SASD personnel under
       special circumstances.
       POLICY 6.5.2b: SASD IAD Regulations Continued
       Misuse of policy 6.5.2 is answerable to IAD director.
       POLICY 6.5.3: SASD IAD Procedures and Duties
       All SASD members are required to cooperate with IAD to full
       extent. Blatant disrespect or passive-aggresive behavior towards
       internal affairs agents during an active investigation will not
       be tolerated.
       POLICY 6.5.3b: SASD IAD Procedures and Duties Continued
       Lack of cooperation, misleading the investigators or withholding
       information will be seen as a breach of the policy and will be
       punished accordingly.
       POLICY 6.5.4: SASD IAD Personnel Equipment
       IAD Personnel is allowed to use any equipment, if a situation
       calls for it.
       POLICY 6.5.4b: SASD IAD Personnel Equipment Continued
       Misuse of policy 6.5.4 will be answerable to IAD Director.
