Anyone else think that since Nate had to revise his statement,
kamehameha didn't die in a straightforward way last night?
Nate was confused enough by the events to initially think that
no one died. Were it not for that, I would say that scum were
probably scared away from targeting Mr. Diddles by the prospect
of protection and looked for other targets. However, it's
doubtful the killer meant for her to die.
We can still try to figure out who would want kamehameha dead,
but I don't expect much to come from it.

whatsgoingon, I think you asked for an explanation about what I
meant by ranch dressing trying to force a tie- ranch dressing
thought the votes were at
GU: 2
Diddles: 3
because kamehameha ninja'd him with an unvote of Diddles. I
agree with others that the 11th hour entrance with no previously
stated suspicions is quite scummy, but his vote ostensibly would
have tied me with Diddles and given us more time.
By the way, I've rethought what I said about the Black Sword
Rune only making sense for town, and it can be disregarded. It
confused me at first because although it had two functions, I
couldn't see how I would ever be able to make use of the
"protection-blocking" function. It makes morse sense in light of
random rune-swapping, though- the protection-blocking is there
for mafia.

Wow. SO much happened!
How can the mafia kill to people? Poison that takes a turn to
activate? (some runes take more than one turn to activate, so
this maybe likely, I've had runes that take more than one turn
to work)
I like to note that last night I did not use my rune X. I was
roleblocked without using it. I lost my rune X. Then I got a new
rune. The new rune was the same rune I had lost, rune X.
Maybe if we don't use our runes and we get roleblocked we get to
keep our runes?
Did this happen to anyone else?

Gonna try to go for a numbers game on this one.
I'm town, I believe that GU is town based off his plausible role
call, and kamehameha was obviously town before they got mafia'd.
So, out of the starting 11, let's assume that's 3 towns. If it
takes 6 to lynch, then we can naturally assume that there's
definitely less than 5 mafia. Out of the remaining 8 players,
I'd assume there's 2 or 3 scum.
Looking at the votals (from whatsgoingon's summary post at the
outset of this thread), the most any one player had for them was
3. It makes sense the mafia would want to vote together to
maximize the chance of a player getting lynched (sidenote: since
GU voted Maria by himself, IMO that increases the plausibility
that he's town). It also makes sense that, by chance, they'd
have at least one person also vote along with them. So, this
leaves us with five people to look at:
- bar_scotch
- cookies
- Maria
- EatScum
- ranch
If we buy that ranch's vote was with the intent to even the
votals, then that means they most likely get taken off the list.

Of that list, I would prioritize cookies = Maria > bar_scotch,
but that's just me.
I buy EatScum's suspicion based on my anonymous browsing. It was
day 1, after all, and it makes sense to want something to go off
of. I've also had a town read on him since the beginning, and
s/he hasn't done anything that has made me reconsider that. I
don't buy Maria's probing. It's too tilted toward trying to out
town power, and she's been throwing suspicion around for no
reason, in an unhelpful way. And while I understand that there
are legitimate reasons to do so, I still dislike that she cast a
vote at me very early on, then disappeared while ranch dressing
jumped in at the last minute and also voted me.
Cookies pushed for a lynch of the only confirmed townie. S/he
also tried to pry extra information from me while I was on the
spot. I think I know what s/he will say, but we need to use that
and demand an explanation.

I did not have a chance to check the game until today, which is
why I was missing.
If I had seen someone piggyback my vote, I would have accused
the person piggybacking on my vote.
Those of you who have played with me know that I like to share
the information I have, I don't think that it will hurt us in
the long run to know about the runes that we have.
Did anyone note:
Kamehameha has died. She was Town Rune Wielder.
The Water Rune has been Destroyed!
The rune of the person who dies and the rune destroyed were
different!!!
Perhaps runes only disappear from the game once they are used
successfully.
If someone holding a rune dies, then their rune is still in the
game.

I have a few things to say, so sorry if this is long
In response to Maria, I agree that sharing some information is
good. Not that this is the case, but what if only town could
hold runes? Or what if some runes could only be held by town?
It's impossible to say now what is actually going on.
However,with the fact that Nate had trouble with what happened
at night, this seems like a complicated game that it would
benefit town to figure out.
So I think it could be a good idea to at least say if we had
runes switched again, but what do you guys think?
Also to Maria, how do we know the rune of the peson who dies and
the rune destroyed are different?
As for who is scum or not, obviously GU and Mr. Diddles seem
pretty clean (obviously). Just wanted to ask that even though
Mr. Diddles role/power was correct, he could still techincally
be mafia right? It would just be unlikely mafia was given that
power? Either way, I'm not advocating going after them at all
especially since they are the best town reads any one has.
I'm going to ##vote: ranch for now. Their explanation for the
late lynch could be valid, but that along with their inactivty
makes me want to pressure them at least for now to get them more
involved.

You've got it all wrong. Marvin Gaye created me, I'm not Marvin

are you asking for an explanation of why cookies pushed to lynch
Mr. Diddles and asked you for a role claim? I would've wanted to
lynch someone day 1 over no lynch so cookies's targeting makes
sense to me. And why wouldn't we want information from you if
you're in the top two choices?
Maria can you please explain: "The rune of the person who dies
and the rune destroyed were different!!!"
Are you saying the water rune and town wielder are thematically
different? Would that make sense since most people got their
runes swapped on twilight one?
I point a finger at SteveStevenson, who I'm not that suspicious
of, but would like to talk about.

Perhaps I didn't read Nate's comment correctly. But if the rune
of the person who died and the rune destroyed are the same, why
call them different names?
Does anyone have a Wielder Rune?
Don't answer, but maybe this cab give us a hint to what's going
on with the runes.
