Stars of Destiny Mafia Day 2 - Stars of Diddling

The townsfolk shuffled home after an exhausting evening, each
eager to finally rest. They knew they stood no chance against
the threat of everlasting evil if they were drained by their
fatigue.
Rest never came. Everyone tossed and turned in their beds, the
events of the day vividly replaying in their minds. They killed
a man today. It ended up not being permanent, but they didn’t
know that. And they had to be ready to do it again.
An eerie glow lit the town that night. The land was changing.
The next morning everyone reconvened in the town’s center,
prepared to kill another of their own. At least everyone was
greeted by the same faces as before. Times had not gotten too
drastic yet.
Nobody died!

GreatUsername didn't want to lynch someone, says it would be a
disadvantage (I would've disagreed. I think lynching day 1 is
almost always good)

the only bit of information that feels questionable to me" (Out
of nowhere hops on GreatUsername over Mr. Diddles. Also explains
away many of the tells, falling on one last bit which is only
"questionable" and not even "suspicious". Very strange to me.)

Diddles twice (Well well, this does not bode to me well
considering his/her entrance. Perspective seems off...)

kamehameha agrees with Steve and "am not a big fan of ranch
dressing voting at the last minute either."
GreatUsername claims Winnie the Pooh and a rune. (The rune made
me think he/she is town at first since I can't imagine mafia
having the item. But so far it seems like runes are randomly
swapped so that could happen too.)

GreatUsername says ranch dressing and kamehameha were trying to
force a tie (Wait I don't see why this was the case... Their
votes seemed far enough apart. Explanation would be nice pls ty)
"yet to post" has little to say and prefers to wait until the
next day
GreatUsername points out that he/she didn't want to vote Diddles
before the role claim. ("I told you so.")
bar_scotch calls Diddles a confirmed townie (I pretty much agree
he's confirmed)
bar_scotch also calls out Rancho "for hopping on the lynch
train"
Cookies says GU is a clear townie that mafia is probably
targeting. Points out his/her paranoia is weird though. (I
thought the rune might be a sign of town at first but since
rotations seem random I don't think it has to at all)

Due to host error, disregard the previous night flavor and
results.
Like our host, the townsfolk woke up in a daze. It did not take
long for someone to discover the body.
Kamehameha has died. She was Town Rune Wielder.
The Water Rune has been Destroyed!

Can anyone tell us what the water rune did? Presumably it was
destroyed because kamehameha had it.

I want to clarify one of the last points in your post, Marvin
(whatsgoingon)
I said that GU should not be too afraid of getting night killed
because DIDDLES was a clear townie. I do not believe GU is
clear or especially town despite a pretty cool rune claim.

TLDR

I still think Maria is more town than mafia, and GU is also more
town than mafia. I see Mr. Diddles as confirmed town.
I don't like ranch_dressing_fan and yet to post, in that order.
Also, I have no idea who marvin is.
