I wouldn't assume that rune sharing is harmless. We don't know
enough.
The fact that all players were roleblocked and you still got
swapped means its not a passive or active player ability though.

I also had a rune that changed. Do townspeople only have runes,
or are runes possessed by both town and scum?
I am disturbed by Mr. Diddles and am almost positive that he is
Kevin Hutchins, but could be wrong. Yet to Post is trolling.
Maria, I suspect massive roleblock was related to runes(?).
Can't think of a power role that could regularly whip that out.

Last night, I had a rune to Observe someone, but I was role
blocked like everyone else.
Now, I have a different rune.
I think that the runes we have will change continuously.

I felt that the role block for twilight 1 was part of the game
design.
That's a good point though, maybe runes can't be blocked even
when role actions are mass blocked periodically?

Could be that role blocking doesn't affect runes. They aren't
really "roles" after all, especially considering they can change
hands.
I agree that mass role block day 1 was probably not due to any
player action.

Woah! A ton has been going on since I last checked. Questions
and comments:
1. Maria, are you saying you got to observe someone even though
you were roleblocked, thanks to your rune, or are you saying
that you had and lost an observation rune but were unable to use
it? Did other people with runes get to do actions without being
roleblocked?
2. Did anyone keep the rune they had previously?
3. I don't think the people who posted late have any greater
chance of being mafia. Having a difficult role to understand
doesn't prevent you from posting.
4. Since no one seems to have died last night, I assume the
mafia kill abilit(y/ies) is/are blockable.

I also agree that the role blocking after twilight 1 was due to
Nate's crazy setup - why have a night of action and roleblock
everyone when all we know after is that we have this thing
called runes with different powers and they change hands each
night
