       The Kogi state University which was established in December 1992
       and kickedoff in January 1993 at the Government Science
       Secondary School, Lokoja and Osara Campus with Dr.Isa I.A. as
       the first Rector, Announcedthat the Polytechnic will re-open
       by29thof July 2013after thecrisis faced by the Polytechnic
       The committee chosen to look into the matter resolved the issue
       after themeeting which was held around 2.40pm, 23rdJuly and
       concluded that the first semester examination which was about to
       hold before the crisis and subsequent shutdown of the school
       will commence on 30thJuly, 2013
       This development turned out to leave students helpless due to
       the shut time given to prepare, but the authorities urged
       students to make it back toschool on or before 29thJuly 2013.
