       Veteran journalist, Allah-Dey dies at 85

       The veteran journalist was a fixture of the Daily Times Group
       for many years, and he authored some of the industry’s most
       pungent opinion columns under his pen name, “Allah-Dey.”
       He served as a commissionerfor tourism in Lagos State in 1973
       and was later a member of the Federal Electoral Commission,
       FEDECO.
       Reports said he died on Thursday at the private St Nicholas
       Hospital.
