WAYS OF KEEPING THE BRAIN SHARP
The brain: it is the center of the nervous system, it can be
referred as the engine of the mind and body because without it
we cant live, so no matter what, all human beings aredependent
on the brain weather yours is for fancy as some teachers may
       say.
So you are to see your brain as the engine room of your body,
and we all know that to own an engine you must take full
responsible of the engine, for example you are to service the
engine always for the efficiency of the engine. So keeping your
brain sharp should be one of your number one priority
thoughts and the root of your ideas.
Below are some of the easy tips in keeping the brain sharp
       1. Eat Fishes:
Some theories credit the introduction of fish into the human
diet with the evolution of our tremendous cognitive prowess.
Essential fatty acids, such as Omega 3s, are critical to brain
function and are proving beneficial for treating such
brain-sapping ailments as depression. Studies on the efficacy of
Omega 3 supplements, however, have had mixed results, so get
doses from food sources, such as flax seeds, fatty fish and
       grass-fed animals.
       2. Eat more vegetables
They’re rich in vitamins and nutrients (like E, B6, and folic
acid) that protect against brain cell damage. But don’t forget
that as soon as you pick a tomato off the vine or pull a carrot
out of the ground, its nutrient content starts to decline. So
the longer it sitson store shelves (or inside your
refrigerator), the less good it’s doing you.
       3. Tease your brain
Always try out something that will educate your brain, whether
crossword puzzles, sudokus and otherbrain teasers actually keep
your brain in shape, however, lack of educationis a strong
predictor of cognitive decline. The moreyou’ve tried to learn,
the better you’ll be at mental sit-ups in old age. The key may
be tackling somethingnew; the challenge of the unknown is likely
more beneficial than putting together the same jigsaw puzzle
       over and over again.
       4. Sign up for dance lessons:
To really sharpen your brain, pick a workout that stimulates you
both mentally and physically. One great example is dance. Moving
the body in a coordinated fashion and
following along with complex movements in sync with music
requires lots of brainpower. Dancing also works your heart, so
       you’re pumping more blood upstairs.
       5. Prevent Beer/ excess alcohol:
I know some of the beer lovers would hate me now but this is
true too much alcohol is not good for the body system if you
must take go for Red wine because it contains a compound called
resveratrol, which recent research shows may help prevent the
buildup of plaque. Brain plaques are often seen in Alzheimer’s
patients, and they cause a breakdown in the communication
       between neurons.
       6. Rest
This is so important when we rest, memories are sifted through,
some discarded, and others consolidated and saved. When we don’t
sleep, a recent study found, proteins build up on synapses,
possibly making it hard to think and learn new things.
Furthermore, chronically sleeping poorly (in contrast to not
enough)is linked to cognitive decline in old age, although the
       relationship may not be causal.
