The JAMB 2014/2015 UTME Screening will include
compulsory subjects which are also general subjects. This

carefully. Compulsory Subjects for JAMB 2014/2015 UTME
The 2014 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination
(UTME) conducted by the Joint Admission and
Matriculation Board (JAMB) for applicants applying for
first degree studies in Nigerian Universities as well as
Polytechnics and College of Education will include a test
on the reading culture of candidates. JAMB on Friday in
Abuja announce the sales of the 2014 UTME form and the
application documents indicated that apart from the
usual appropriate choice of subjects, candidates will
equally be tested on two general subjects to ascertain
their levels of appreciation for reading. “Jamb Candidates
will be tested on two general books to enhance their
reading culture irrespective of their choice of course of
study. The compulsory books for Jamb 2014 are;The

Chukwuemeka Ike,” the statement from the head public
relations of JAMB, Fabian Benjamin stated. He noted that
the Jamb board was determined to provide access to
candidates desirous of tertiary education and has begun
the sale of Jamb application form into the nation’s
tertiary institutions. Fabian Benjamin explained that
theearly sale of the Jamb 2014 formis to enable every
Nigerian who is seeking admission into higher tertiary
education to have access to the form on time to enable
them prepare ahead for the examination which is

to the board, the two modes of tests to be conducted by
JAMB are the Paper and Pencil Test (PPT) and Computer
Based Test (CBT) in the Jamb 2014 UTME. What are the

secondary school education with a minimum of six credits
includingEnglish LanguageandMathematicsare expected
to obtain the forms at the designated banks and register

Kingdom (UK), South Africa (SA), Cameroon, Jeddah and
Biu. Note: All candidates who want to apply for the
examination are urged to ensure that their data are well
captured at the cyber café/business centers and their

JAMB, Professor Dibu Ojerinde, urged parents and
approved café operators to ensure that candidates are
well guided in the filling of the form to avoid wrong
filling and unwholesome practices that may affect their

form as soon as possible to avoid the rush hour time. For
candidates who are not aware, during the Jamb 2013
registration, a lot of candidates were sent to the northern
part of the nation to write their Jamb examination. You
