still life WIP

This is what I have so far in my still
life. I'm working on my last object (pistol) at the moment
finding textures for it and fixing somethings, it isn't in the
picture but I wanted to get some feed back on what I have got so
far.

-Nice thought to put scenery as the outside
-Nice weapon next to the dresser
Dislike
-Confused about where the light source is coming from,
should be sunlight coming from the window
-There seems to be no window pane that separates inside from
outside.

Looks like it's coming along nicely. I like your lighting, and
the modeling on the bazooka and earbuds is very well done.
What makes me feel off is the window is very obviously a texture
with an image placed onto it.
A way i would fix that is to make the window an actual hole in
the wall, then, place an image of that outdoor scene hovering
outside, in such a position that it looks like its actually the
outside scene.
Also, i like the bump mapping on the carpet, looks comfy. 8)
