Work in progress of the bee character model! So far the entirety
of the modeling is done and I am beginning on the texturing
phase! Having finished the model, I am beginning now to see some
weaknesses with the base design. The combination of bee-person
is too much in favor of the person, mostly as a crutch since the
tutorial video has similar proportions. I feel the model barely
passes the uncanny valley due to the head and eyes, but could
have been better more insect like limbs and such. Also in terms
of character design, many of the unimportant aspect of
recognizing the figure could have been shortened and emphasis on
the most noticeable parts would have made a more easily to
appeal character. Effort was taken to implement edge loops for
animation and should easily walk, speak, and dance, though I may
redo the model and design on my own time to fix fundamental
       issues.

I really like what you have done so far! The colors you chose
are fun and appealing to the eye.
Might I suggest you round out the wings a little bit more, as
bees are more softer/rounder than other insects in general; as
well as to avoid looking wasp-like instead!

Really great work! I would suggest adding a little more to the
textures. Maybe some indications of fur, if she's a furry bee,
or any other kind of noise to breakup the flat fields of color.
Maybe try to darken some of the areas that will be indented to
add some contour. Something like that.

paying off! Everything is coming toghther really nicely and I
think the charecter is a really cool idea! Keep the good work!
