Krist/Kyanna/Mariah/Zach Animation History

Hey guys!
This is a mix between 2D and 3D animation made by four people.
Krist focused completely on the 3D animation and camera aspects.
Kyanna focused on concept art of both the character, objects,
and background settings. Zach primarily focused on sound
effects. and I focused on the 2D art and animation aspects
(character, background, monster).
This took a few weeks to complete and we are very happy with the
outcome of the animation!
Can you find the easter eggs? ;)
Critiques are greatly appreciated!

The 3D scene looks very well done! The scene is detailed and the
lighting is fantastic.
I am impressed with the 2D run cycle. It is fairly smooth and
the lineart is consistent (no jumpy lines or odd deformations.)
As far as the story goes it is very unclear to me what is
happening or how the 3D scene at the beginning fits together
with the 2D scenes. The running scene seems to be dragged out
for too long without anything to keep the audiences interest.
Though I do enjoy the way the background pans as the character
runs. I would like to know why the child is running in the first
place and where the scary face pops out from at the end. If it
pops out from the well maybe show a shot of the camera looking
down into the well and then the face pops out. Scenes that help
the audience connect the dots would help get your story across.
