the sp00kiest hallway

Sadly, maya corrupted most of my saves today so I had to render
it from an older instance.
Anyways, my hallway is the sp00kiest because it
is[glow=red,2,300][color=red] haunted by the ghosts of the lost
files.[/glow]

The mood I was trying to go for was "dark and arcane", mixed
with "tortured souls of Atlantis"... or something like that...
Let me know what you think!
Sorry in advance for any mistakes I couldn't fix in time c:

Star Guardian, nice original idea. Do you know if the colors you
used are the right color balance of teal-purple? It feels like
the dark purple overbears the lighter teal and makes it hard to
distinguish the objects in the piece. Also, neat concept with
the faces in the wall, though if I may be blunt, they don't
exactly look scared, tortured, etc. It looks like a shutterstock
image of "crowd." If you are going for a theme of "fear of
crowds," then you should definitely work that imagery and
symbolism across other aspects of the piece, and not rely on
generic term such as "dark," "arcane," "Atlantis," or "sp00k,"
when they don't really fit. If you had wanted to emphasize these
points, they also should have been more reinforced across the
expression of your piece. Besides that, good job with the UV
mapping and color choices.

The search term I used for my arch was actually 'abandoned
statues texture', but I understand if it doesn't quite convey
the feeling of "sp00k". I agree, I may be very broad in my
defination of /how/ this hallway is sp00ky, but I do hold
artist's bias on my work, hehe.
Thank you for taking the time to critique my work, Micah!

I really like the shade of purple and turquoise and that the
texture kinda makes the house look like a creepy insect hive.
Great work :)

Ohman i absolutely love the color scheme you used, the purples
look fantastic and the wallpaper is definitely spooky. It's top
notch m8. The fog is a really nice touch and i love the light
coming in from the window, i think it contrasted well with the
color on the interior.

I love the colors, it kinda gives me an other wordly alien feel.
It did take a minute to tell that the walls had faces or baby
heads on them so maybe the purple should've been alittle
different however great concept all around.

Thank you for all the lovely comments, everyone!
I had some trouble with the purple flooding /too much/ of the
room, but I'm glad the color is still well recieved. <3

I LOVE the color scheme you chose to go with! It's not a typical
look someone would do and that's why it stands out so much to
me. Personally it gives me more of a Danganronpa vibe, but
that's probably just the magenta color :3c

A well done hallway like what you did for the walls with all
those faces really brings the creepy and it is reinforced by the
lighting you did.
