I love your models themselves (especially the chessboard and the
table) but, as it was said in the critique, it is really busy.
The telescope layers should be closed because it sort of looks
like paper wrapped around it. Another think I would have liked
is if you made the water tinted and the view from the side kind
of distorted.

i can't tell if the box is spouse have a chess board patter or
is it reflecting the chess board.

Now that I can see your objects more clearly, I must give you
props on how much work was put into your objects. They are
lovely and well done, especially the chess pieces. Now I
understand fish are probably pretty hard to model, but I'd like
to see alittle more variety in the size and colors of your fish.
Think that would really bring them to life more, but other than
that its a very nice still life!

I really love all the reflections, as well as all the models,
you seemed to have put a lot of effort into this. :D The water
in the fish tank could look a little more realistic though.

try rendering with a higher resolution preferably HD 720 or a
different renderer like mental ray because the jaggedness of the
objects in the scene are really distracting
