For this project I decided to create a logo that I could use for
my own personal use. Aescout is my artist pen name of sorts. I
wanted it to be relevant to the art I make so I decided to make
2D animation of cartoon cat eyes. I wanted my logo to be very
       simple.
I had a lot of problems making this project. The majority of the
time I spent on this project was rendering. I had to render the
flames 3 times before I got the files to work. For some reason
all of the files I had rendered or saved became corrupted (both
the 2D animation frames and the 3D fire animation.) so I ended
up rerenderin/resaving files over and over again. For this
reason I rushed the compositing and editing of the final piece.
I hope I was not the only one expiriencing this problem. Does
anyone know why this could have happened or how I could fix it
       for future projects?
In the future, I would like to have fixed the timing of the fire
and spiced up the logo to make it more interesting and exciting.

I really like the mix between the 2D and 3D you have in this
logo. The animation with the eyes is really well done and smooth
motioned. The only thing I would say bothers me is the long
pause between the two flames before the start to overlap and
move. It kind of gives it a long tense sense to it, or at least
       it does to me anyway.
Other than that, I really love it, I think it's really beautiful
and I wish I could have done something like this for my art
logo. (but Maya hates me lol) :D Wonderful job!
(on a side note: I added you on DeviantART. <3 )

I think that the 2D animation really adds character to this ;)

If you're going with a logo for personal use, MyScriptFont
  HTML http://www.myscriptfont.com/
has a template that can make a
custom font from your own handwriting, so using that could make
your logo more unique to you.

I really enjoy this. Love the use of the flames!
The only thing that throws me off is probably your text?
I feel that you could have went with a more fitting and more
       extravagant font.
Other than this, wonderful. Cute art, too keep it up. <3

really nicely done and I appreciate the comical '2d'ness to the
       eyes. I really enjoy this.

I would have had one of the eyes still there after the fire

I agree with you! It was in my original animatic to have one of
the eyes be there at the end of the logo. I should have kept
that ideo for the final product!
Again, thank you everyone for your feedback! :)
