I really like the coloring. It reminds of a scene In the movie,
Batman & Robin. The textures are really nice and fit in with
everything else. The only thing I see that could be improved, is
the shadows of the archway. I don't really see the light source
that would cast the shadow like that.

Its not really scary but everyone has there own terms on the
subject. But it feels very real when looking at so good job as
it does remind me of Tim Burton's batman sets or raven home in
half-life 2. If your having trouble with shadows and lights try
using a relationship editor with objects and lights sources.
Good luck.

I really love the camera angle you managed to set. It makes it
feel like the hallway is looming over you, making the whole
scene more intimidating.

The texture on the wall is a nice touch but the flooring doesn't
feel like it would belong as it looks new and the wall looks
old.

There are to many contradicting light sources. The textures look
great. I suggest that to fix your problem you take out either
the light at the top of the stairs or the light coming from the
left side window.
