Anyone know a way to start my image sequence on a frame other
       that frame 1?

Are you trying to render out your images or put them into
       premiere/after effects?

not sure how we're going to turn them in. I am doing the walk in
a circle animation, and am trying to just add on the back flip
to it. I added the extra frames, and am just wondering if i'd be
able to add in the back flip at a different time rather than at
the start. that way i wouldn't have to go back and forth between
the start of the frames, (to look at the image sequence), and
the later frames, (where i'm animating)

So far, i don't know how to import keyframes from one scene to
another (assuming you have your backflip already animated),
If you don't and you still need to animate your backflip, add in
some extra frames, set a keyframe a little bit after your walk
cycle is finished that resets all your controllers to a default
       position, then animate your backflip.

If i just key at a certain spot, then insert the back flip image
sequence, it will just begin the back flip animation there?

Have you rendered out your back-flip already?
An image sequence is the multiple images that are rendered out,
       not the scene's animation itself.
Do you have your backflip already animated? or are you trying to
animate it into the same scene?
are you trying to put two image sequences together in a separate
       program?

Trying to animate them in the same scene, and haven't animated
it or rendered anything as of yet.
