You can quote people by left clicking the "Quote" button on the
upper right corner of a post (if left clicking doesn't do
anything try right clicking it and select "open in a new tab").
Most Dragon Quest Fans consider IV a good starting game, and
most also consider V to be the best in the series. VIII is good
too, and its coming to 3ds along with VII (eventually). If you
are getting IV, the iOS/Andriod version is the best version and
has a cheaper price tag than a used DS cart (unless you're the
emulating type).

Thanks, man. If I went for the series I think I'd have to go
with 8, since that's the only one on PS2, iirc. It looks really
cozy, like FF12. if you've played that.
