Import problem.
By: granthasnen Date: March 1, 2016, 1:22 pm

I imported a scene from a project into another project. All the
items from the import are named with the project and I can get
rid of it no matter how many times I try to change it. How do I
break connection from the project?

There are a few ways to resolve
this issue. (This name that pops up on all imported objects is
called a namespace.)
1. You can go into the namespace editor and change it
manually. Window > General Editors > Namespace Editor. Then
click the namespace you want to remove and delete it. There
should be a box that pops up, select "Merge With Root"
2. You can turn off namespacing so every imported object from
now on wont have a namespace added. File > Import Settings Box >
Use namespaces
You can also do this inside the script editor but who really
wants to do that.
