       Hello, everyone! :)
This is my WIP for the still-life project that is due [this]
Friday! The six images that I used to create this piece was:
       - Jack-in-the-Box
       - Bed
       - Aquarium (accompanied by rocks, coral, fish, and a castle)
       - Window
       - Wall clock
       - Rod and curtains
As you can see, all items in the image are displayed clearly.
What I did find easy to make on this was the objects themselves
along with the materials. Each object had their own difficulty
to execute (especially some of asymmetrical pieces like the
coral). However, I found that creating the items in this piece
were all very easy and enjoyable to do. The textures in the
piece were also fun to make because it made the objects look
more "realistic", which it's supposed to. What I found difficult
in the textures was adding the "Layer Shader" to certain images.
Originally, the Jack in the Box had splatters of blood on the
sides of it but due to some circumstances; I had to reapply the
original texture to the box and get rid of the blood. What I
also found (and am still finding) hard to do is the Mia
material. I don't "hate" the Mia material, I just find it
difficult to apply without it altering my image in a bad way. I
was able to successfully apply the Mia material onto the
aquarium and the wall clock but only with help from Mr. Earl. I
did try to add it onto my window but it proved useless without
help as it would hide the moon glow and woods background and
just replace it with reflective glass. So I got rid of it.
I would also like to point out that the room is very dark, I
wanted to make a "creepy" atmosphere with the lighting, which
one option for that would be extreme shadowing.
Another point of interesting is the contrasting colors; such as
the room/wallpaper being a warm color (yellow/red) while the
jack in the box's eye is a blue color, along with the aquarium
being inhabited by cool colored fish and other items.
I did enjoy this project even though at some points, I wanted to
       throw a tantrum.
       Critics would be appreciated! :)
       Thank you,
       Mariah Schlosser

       GG
it looks like it's straight out of a horror scene from a game.
       Very well done.
If I had to pick one thing to critique on, I would say that more
objects in the fish tank would make it better, and the desk the
fish tank is on seems a bit too glossy.
       all in all, great job.

The wall is a bit blurry, i would fix that by either finding a
higher quality image, or try to increase the tiling of the
       wallpaper.
