Sound Effects?????

I don't know if this should go in the Q and A category or not
since its a general question and not a question about maya? So I
hope it's ok if I post this here.
I want to add some sound effects to my animation project, but
I'm finding trouble finding a website to get sound effects that
is free and isn't blocked by the school. Does anyone know of a
website that offers free sound effects that doesn't require any
fees?

A good thing you can do is get some sound effects at home and
bring them with you to school, since finding sound effects you
want on a school network where many things are blocked isn't
always the most fun thing to do.
Write down the type of sound effects you need, go home, find a
couple of each ones that you need so you have a small handful to
choose from, then you can put them into the video with your
choice of video editing program.

You could also see if you can find sound effects you like in
some youtube videos, then bring them in to
HTML http://www.youtube-mp3.org/
to get just the .mp3. After that,
cut what you don't need out.
