This room started out as very empty and sad, and turned out to
be a little less sad but not by much.
What I enjoy about this project is that I spent a whole lot of
time on the details, (laptop keys, ports, etc.) and was happy
with the outcome of it, even though it isn't visible in this
image.
I had problems with getting the lighting to display correctly
but eventually got the hang of it. I feel as though I should
have added something outside of the room, or gave more light to
the scene to express more of an atmosphere.

The lighting and your models both look really good. I do agree
that there should be something outside the window, though -- it
looks more like a mirror than a window right now.
The only other issue I have with it is it's hard to see the
model on the left of the desk with how dark the shadows are, but
that kind of lighting also gives the room a kind of "up at 3am
scrolling through tumblr" feel to it, so it works on some
levels.

I think that all of the items are well done, the only issue i
see is the two light source (the lamp and the sun light) seem to
clash with each other. The lamp light might not be necessary,
the lamp is modeled well enough.
