Still Life

Here is my still life image. The lighting in the image, to me,
is hard and to bright; I do however like how the light protrudes
from the window. I have three lights in the scene, an ambient
and two spot light. One spot light comes from the light fixture
and has a radius to cover the whole scene, and the other spot
light comes from the outside of the window. The ambient sits on
top of the ceiling fan and lights the top half of the room.
Still learning how to use the lighting in Maya but super open to
suggestions on how to make the scene feel more inviting and
warm. The whole scene seems a little blurry, this might have to
do with the render, but it gives the feeling of a cartoon. I'm
also figuring out the texture and how to make the furniture look
like white leather and from a distance it looks just white.
Overall i'm happy with the outcome. More items were added to
fill the space, and for more practice on Maya. Critiques
strongly suggested!

Great job man! your lighting was spot on! it looks like a room i
would like to live in. Everything looks great! if i had to add
anything i would say play around more with mia textures it will
change your life. Great work man! :)
